GOALS :
- to be the lead in a musical in college
- to maybe fall in love if it's possible
- get past her first semester of college
- maintain her current reputation
- make it to Broadway one day
FEARS :
- she'll never settle down and have a family
- she'll be stuck in Vegas forever
- history will repeat itself
- bugs
SECRETS :
- Sophia's parents verbally abuse her pretty horribly, but she tries her best not to let it get to her.
- She flunked the ninth grade.
WEAKNESSES :
- She's rather incapable of saying 'no' to anyone.
- Alcohol is becoming more and more tempting, and not just in a party sense, but in a 'let's drink alone until we can't see straight' kind of sense.
STRENGTHS :
- Considerate - very much the person you go to if you're upset. She'll cheer you up in no time.
- Standing up for herself. She's pretty good at it, and not only that, but standing up for anyone around her.
OVERALL PERSONALITY :
- Selfless - For the most part, Sophia will do just about anything to make you happy. She doesn't want to see anyone upset and know that it's all her fault, so she puts her needs aside and tries her best to do unto others.
- Insecure - It's not hard for one to hide their inner most secrets. Sophia isn't nearly as secure as her front. She tells most people that she thinks she's a good actress, a good singer and a good person in general, but when she's left to her own devices, all she can think of is how horrible she is at being all three of those things.
- Eccentric - Any time you see Sophia, it's likely she has a smile on her face. She's wild and out there, and just a little bit strange. That's not a bad thing in her opinion. It makes her different from the rest of the world.
- Pliable - She's gullible. She's going to be persuaded no matter what a person says. Every day she's claiming she's in love with a new boy or girl, but usually it's a boy. If she actually falls for said person, she won't come out of it for a good while.
- Easy - Not only is she easy in the sensual sense, but in the way that she'll go for just about anything. That's not saying she isn't easy when it comes to jumping in bed though - that, she definitely is.
- Optimistic - Despite the things people call her and her reputation, overall, Sophia is an optimistic girl. She sees the glass as half-full and she sees the brighter side of things. Nine times out of ten, you won't find her moping when she's been told no, or when something hasn't gone her way.
- Thrill-seeking - Sophia is always looking for the thrill of things. She loves horror movies, amusement parks, and things that are going to make her heart pound, which means that, yes, she absolutely loves getting into trouble. She's had quite a few run-ins with the cops, and has points on her license for driving under the influence.
- Congenial - While a lot of people are intimidated by Sophia from the aura she gives off, she's actually a quite personable girl. She loves making new friends out on the dancefloor, in clubs, at parties and even in line at the grocery store.
- Thick-skinned - With the reputation she's given herself, it's kind of hard not to be thick-skinned. While people are calling her a whore, or saying that she's dressed like a slut, Sophia's laughing at those stupid, jealous people.
- Hot-headed - Name calling doesn't necessarily bother Sophia, especially if it's in her direction, but the second something is said about a friend or family member, she's got her claws out and doesn't mind. She's done it before and she has no problem doing it again.
SUBJECTS :
- Fine Art - This one is obvious. She's a junkie. Sophia knows all about which musicals are on Broadway, what ones have been there, what musicals the college has done and anything else you can think of. She's been interested in theater since before she can even remember.
- Nursing - Why did she take this one up? Well, it wasn't as if she really wanted to do it. Her parents pushed her to do it because they are convinced that she won't get anywhere with theater. They think it's a useless major.

HOMETOWN : Las Vegas, Nevada
CURRENT RESIDENCE : Las Vegas, Nevada
MOTHER'S NAME : Tia Madali
FATHER'S NAME : Igme Madali
SIBLINGS : Darla Madali
OVERALL HISTORY :
On July 27, 1992, Igme and Tia were blessed with their first beautiful baby girl – Sophia Maricel. She wasn’t a perfect baby, but she didn’t have any life-threatening problems and that made both Igme and Tia absolutely thrilled. They raised her on the outskirts of Las Vegas where she grew up amongst the party life. On her third birthday, during her very party, someone else stole the show. Tia made an announcement that they were expecting another child. Of course, Sophia didn’t necessarily understand. She just went along with it and pretended to be happy just as the rest of the people at the party were. How couldn’t she be happy? It was her birthday!
When Darla was born, Sophia stayed with her grandmother. Unfortunately, Darla was much less than the perfect baby. She was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome as soon as she came from the womb. Of course, that didn’t mean that her parents were going to love the little baby any less than they loved Sophia. Maybe they’d love her even more. No, that wasn’t a maybe. Darla was automatically the favorite. Sophia, being almost four years old at the time, didn’t really understand. She just knew she had a new baby sister and she was different. She was definitely okay with that.
Growing up, Sophia and Darla were fairly close. They both took dance classes and Sophia took acting classes. There were many times where Sophia would stick up for Darla, and vice versa, even though it really did nothing for Sophia. She loved it all the same. There was this one time in the eighth grade – someone had cracked joke about Darla. It wasn’t just anybody though. It was that one boy that Sophia was crushing on. His name was Derek, and Sophia hit Derek harder than any other boy in their grade could. No one was allowed to make fun of her beautiful sister, not even Derek, and he was pretty high up on a pedestal in her book. That all changed after one comment, of course.
Now, Sophia wasn’t always the eccentric, insecure slut she is now. It all started in the ninth grade. A rumor started. It was a vicious rumor that she’d hooked up with Derek, and of course, she just shrugged it off at first, but it seemed as though her wallflower self was getting more and more attention from the opposite sex ever since they found out she’d ‘slept with Derek’. She had to live up to that rumor, and so she went on numerous dates and hooked up with numerous guys. She made other girls jealous, and that was how her entire high-school career went.
The second her parents found out about this little reputation she’d started, they weren’t about to let her live it down. Since that day in ninth grade, they’ve been ridiculing her. You’ll never amount to anything. That one was the one that stung Sophia the most, and now she’s trying her best to make it in life. She’s trying to be a socialite, a nymphomaniac, an actress and a medical assistant all wrapped into one.
It’s just a tad difficult.

ROLE PLAY SAMPLE :
As the teacher rambled on about whom she was, what subject this was and the like, Madison just stared off into space. Normally, she was a pretty attentive student. That seemed to change as she waited for the teacher to stop her spiel. She wanted nothing more than to go back to bed for the rest of the day. Did she really have to go to high school? Madison could end up being some genius and getting her G.E.D. at 15. That wasn’t legal, unfortunately, or else the girl would do it. Though with that thought in mind, Madison figured she probably couldn’t stand being away from people that long. After all, she was a social girl. Other people just hadn’t figured that out yet since she never really had the courage to talk to them. This time it would be different.
Sitting in class gave her a bit of time to reflect on the past summer. She’d been with that one girl, and hopefully, that same girl wouldn’t be appearing in her class any time now. It was kind of hard to be in a relationship with a girl that you were head over heels for when the population didn’t even know she was into girls. Madison wasn’t a lesbian though. She just didn’t know what she wanted. Either gender was okay with her. Then again, Maddie had never really dated a boy. She didn’t have the experience to say that she liked either better. One of her goals in high school was to get a boyfriend. She didn’t want to fall in love or anything, but just date someone so she could figure herself out. Madison was horribly confused about herself. She just needed some help. That’s all.
When someone walked into the room just as the teacher began speaking again, Madison piped up and glanced at the boy. She’d known him for a little while. That was Ryleigh Skyes. It was hard for someone to not know who he was, and even then if they heard the last name they knew. Madison wasn’t clueless. She knew he had to have some kind of vendetta against her. What she didn’t know was why. What had she ever done to him? She usually just shrugged those dirty looks off. It wasn’t as if she was hurting because he disliked her. It definitely annoyed her, but it wasn’t as if she was going to do anything about it. When he sat down beside her in the back of the room, she flashed him a warm smile, then slumped down in her desk.
”Think she’ll ever quiet down?” Madison whispered to the boy, eyeing the teacher up. ”She’s been rambling like that since before I came in here. She started talking about how she had three Dalmations and how they were like her children. She showed us pictures and everything. You missed the best part of the entire class,” She teased, then sighed a bit. ”Ryleigh… right?” Madison asked. ”I’m Madison. You probably remember me waddling from class to class and practically running to the cafeteria.”
