It was pretty awesome, coming into a club and having security on your side over their own job. It was like, he made them get hired, just for his benefit. The memory flashed back in front of his eyes, before moving here, he'd already learned the roads, the places, the clubs, and decided he might need some connections in places he might go to very often. Club Mercy was one of the many, and he'd decided he needed security up front for him. Of course after watching around for a few perfect guys to be suited as security, kidnapping them and then talking to them about their mission was pretty much easy. Now, they let him into the club anytime he wanted them to.
The crowd was becoming more packed as he walked further into the crowd and some dude knocked into Justus a little bit to hard, and Justus swiftly turned on his feet grabbed the base of the guy's neck before knocking him from his feet and pushing his upper body down by the grip on the guys neck. Inhaling deeply Justus turned back around to see the bar just before him. He could hear a little bit of commotion from the move he just made, but ignored it. They wouldn't find him, and if they did, they wouldn't do anything about it. Walking up to the bar, Justus gently wrapped his arm around Mason's waist so she could get out of the heavy crowd. Grey Goose, don't add any of that juice to it. I can handle what I create. Justus grinned at this because indeed he could handle what he created. He was just about to order for Mason, but he'd put her to the test and let her see what she came up with.

Mason followed him, trying to stick close so she wouldn't get lost. It was all so new and exicting, like another planted. The girl sure did feel alien in this place. Mostly because of her age, she felt like she was standing out. Looking around slightly, Mason only caught a slight glimpse of what Justus did the guy who had bumped into him. It was shocking, and she wondered absent Minded what could of caused him to do that.
But before she could even think on what caused it, he was moving again and Mason followed. The young girl blushed as he wrapped his arm against her waist. She didn't mean to blush, he was just being nice and nothing more. But his arm, and gentle touch was nice and warm. She blinked as he asked her what she wanted to try, thinking about what drinks she did know of.It was obvious that with him bringing her he wanted her to branch out and besides. She was tempted to at least try an alcoholic drink. "Rum and coke.' she said, as she thought about her fathers favorite drink. On rough days he always had a rum and coke, and normally let Mason try a sip and she had to admit it. She liked the drink.

Justus found it quiet amusing sitting there and watching Mason's face. The smart girl looked so confused for once. Smart girl? Confused? The sight was just something you didn't see everyday. Justus didn't hold back a grin from her view while he waited. He began wondering, smart girls like to learn new things. Obviously this is something she would learn, either quickly or slowly. Mostly, it would be quickly, and Justus hoped it would be quickly.
His eyebrows shot up when she said rum and coke. An actual drink. He didn't need to add anything or take back anything she said. Nodding he laughed before taking his vodka and lifting the glass to his lips to take a sip. Justus grinned at the feeling that ran down his throat. Wonderful. He then looked out to the crowd of people grinding. Hm, should I? Should I not? It was either learn fast and be addicted, or learn slow and jump in with caution, which made no sense. Justus leaned down to Mason and spoke slightly loud enough over the music You wanna dance?

Mason started to sip at her drink as it was handed to her, slowly getting used to the taste and the after taste. She never drank this much before, and she was just maybe two or sips in. she was feeling so bad, and it was kind of a fun feeling. She looked out at the dance floor, taking in the music.
Mason looked at him as she heard him ask her a question. "Sure." she said smiling, as she finished her drink putting down the empty cup. she was slowly starting yo feel a bit off. But it was a nice warm feeling, with Mason's body mass and experience with alcohol the girl was already getting a slight buzz. As a new song came on, a mix Mason never heard before she took Justus hand heading to the dance floor.

When Mason smiled and agreed to dance with him, he smiled back. A quite bright smile, shockingly. Justus always heard the phrase "He looks like a angel, but is the devil in disguise." when he grew up. His facial features so innocent and beautiful, but not so much on the inside. So, when he'd smile out of happiness, it was very gentle. His smile had lowered itself when he saw Mason gulp down the alcohol just before his smile was placed back onto his face.
Justus quickly tilted his head up as well as his glass at his lips and swallowed his own drink just before Mason had pulled him out and onto the floor. Her hand was so tiny wrapped around his, for a moment he actually had guilt for doing this to her, but the guilt was gone in a flash. She's in college, she can be a big girl. He thought while he followed her. Once finding an open spot in the dance floor, Justus already had her back against him with his hands on her hips. He knew she would not be a professional, so he leaned down into her ear Just follow me then start moving with the music. He said before pulling back and giving her a reassuring look to not be embarrassed.

All of her life Mason had been the sweet girl, the innocent girl. The girl that was so smart, and would go far in life. Better than her parents could ever be. It was starting to seem, as she started to interact with her peers. The being the good girl could get boring fast, she would joke that she was a boring person and act like it didn't bother her. But sometimes it did, it made her feel like a little girl.
The young girl followed him to the empty spot, then she was against him. His hands on her hips, the girl trying hard not to blush or seem embarrassed by their suddenly closeness. Mason nodded as he gave her advice on how to dance. She smiled at him, and started to move to the beat. "This is the best night ever." she said.

Justus began to smile when Mason began instantly getting the hang of it. He figured she would have been a bit more uptight with her dance moves and that he would have had to tell her to loosen up a little, but she did not need any advice from him except that one he gave her. She was actually really good, and he was beginning to like it more and more as the time passed. Lowering his head down over her shoulders their ears were almost in equal position then he turned his head You're a natural.. He said before looking back down and lacing their fingers together loosely while dancing.

Mason was loving this, dancing and just enjoying the music. It was so much better than being at home. She wanted to do this more often, it was relaxing after going to school or just keeping busy all day. Though she doubted she could get in without Justus, then again would this be as much fun with anyone else? The young girl turned her head slightly as Justus talked to her. "Thanks." she said beaming at him. "You're a natural too."

Justus could feel eyes on him. Either they were checking him out, scoping him out because of who he was, or wondering why he was with such a young girl. He liked to think it was because he looked so good. Letting go of Mason's hands he wrapped an arm around her waist again just before he had to crouch down lower to keep up with her movement. When he did, he felt the vibration of his phone against his leg. He'd set everyone's calls silent, except one person. Justus' heart stopped and he immediately stopped dancing before quickly turning around and walking towards the entrance expecting Mason to follow him.
Once he'd made it past the security and huge crowd, Justus stepped way off to the side, and scrolled through his phone to get to his missed call. He looked down at the phone, and for once, prayed a silent prayer to whatever god there may be. Gulping, he pressed the talk button and held the phone up to his ear. When the man's voice answered, Justus talked immediately Good or bad news? For a moment Justus' eyebrows farrowed while he stared at the ground then a huge bright smile took over his face. New York? Do you need me to send some money over for flight reservations? He nodded a few times switching his weight from one foot to another. Okay, get some rest. The money will be there tomorrow at 6:30 a.m. I want you to leave first flight out. Then he ended the call with the smile still on his face.

One moment his arm was wrapped around her waist, he was warm and comforting. She smiled softly, and then suddenly his arm was gone and she turned around. Seeing him walking off, she followed him wondering what was happening. She thought she had heard a phone vibrate, but the music was too loud to be sure.
Mason wanted to ask him if everything was alright, but she doubted that he could hear her. Mason followed him outside, pushing back some of her hair. watching him talk Mason relaxed as she saw him smile. So everything was fine, she smoothed down her dress. "who was that?"she asked smiling back at him.

Sliding the phone back into his pocket. Justus pulled out his cigarettes then his lighter before placing it between his lips and lighting it. Taking a deep drag he looked out before him. He was in to much happiness and thought to realize that Mason was talking to him. Blowing out the spoke from his nostrils he looked back over to Mason and rose his eyebrows. Oh. Well..if you want to hear this story, you're gonna have to take a walk with me. He knew she would want to go with him, so he began walking.
I have a son. His name is Leon. Uh..He's about two right now. He let this sink in for a moment before continuing. Let's see, I was there at the hospital when he was born. There everyday, but as soon as his mom got out of the hospital. She ran away with Leon. The guy that was on the phone, is helping me look for him. He found them in New York, apparently. He smiled and shrugged again.

Mason stood there, watching him and wondering who could it be. A family member? a good friend? Either way it sounded like good news, and it was nice to hear about it in a town like this. Pushing back her hair, she started to follow him as he started to walk. Nodding to show she understood.
Chewing on her lip, kind of out of nerves and curiosity she waited. "Really?' she asked, she couldn't help but smile. The image of a little Justus was just too cute. Mason had a huge soft spot for kids. They were special. She took it in as he told her the rest of the story. How could someone do that to a father? If her mother never allowed her dad near her or the twins he'd be heart broken. Of course some people shouldn't be allowed near kids. But Justus sounded so warm thinking about his son.
"Oh wow." she said. "So you're going to go see them?"she asked. "Or has the mom been convinced to come out here?" she continued walking with him enjoying the night air. "This must be so exciting for you. Dad's always telling me about how having a kid is amazing and changes lives."

Justus slid his hands into his pockets playing with the keys to his car. He wasn't so sure if he wanted her to know all of what would or might happen, but Mason knew so much already, and it was nice finally being able to talk some good news about his son. Well. It will probably end up me going there. He ran his tongue over his lip while he looked down at his shoes while he walked. Ever since they ran off, I've had three groups of my men searching across the country for any kind of hints. It's like, being a detective, but you have connections, and if someone doesn't speak then.. He shrugged and continued. We kill them, but most of them have helped us out.
He looked over to Mason to see if she as okay with him to continue, and her face proved him that she was okay with it so he did. Anyways, they are in New York. So, two groups are coming back here to Vegas for regular work. As for the one group, they are going to Vegas to continue the search. The guy I was on the phone with? That's Austen. He's been in the business for three years. Two ranks down from me. He's like the leader of that group, but anyways, if we find them. I'll probably be gone for like three days.

Mason stood there taking it all in, listening silently. She was really happy that things were starting to work out for Justus. Most men would just give up, and not even try and be in their kids life if the mom up and left. Mason obviously didn't know Justus very well yet, but he seemed like a good guy and it was heart warming he wanted to be with Leon.
"I wish you the best of luck.'she said as she walked with him. 'I can't imagine never knowing my mom or dad." Mason said shaking her head. 'Or what it'd be like to never really know your kid." she looked up at him, in the eyes. "I think it's sweet you're looking for him, a lot of guys wouldn't even bother." she admitted.

Justus continued walking along side of Mason. It was nice to hear from someone other than his family that they thought he was doing the right thing, because if felt like the right thing. Especially to him, there was nothing more in the world that he wanted besides to be with his son again. Stopping he took out a pack of cigarettes and lit one up before taking a drag. Well, it kills me that he is not around me. I think of him everyday. He shook his head then leaned against a near buildings wall. I know that I'm not the best person in the world, but I want to be the best father. He said as he stared out the ground, guilt overtaking him now as he thought about the girl running off with his child was better for Leon.
