» - - - - you call me a slut, you call me a liarI'VE GOT SO MANY NAMES, I CAN'T EVEN DENY IT - - - - - - - - « The warm air of a Las Vegas night whirled through Olivia's Scion xB as she drove down the highway with both front windows rolled down. With Blink 182 blaring through the speakers, she maneuvered in and out of the traffic with ease as she always had. It was like a game of Mario Kart to her, except she didn't get to crash into any of those cool boxes that gave you special powers. She'd grown to love the Las Vegas traffic, it was one thing that reminded her of home. Looking at the time on her radio, it flashed '11:14 pm' and she mentally thought of how long it had been since she had talked to Tico last on the college chat. She had a lot of fun on that thing, rarely took it serious. One good thing about it, though, was that she wouldn't be sitting on the roof of the Palms hotel alone. She wasn't one to really show fear, but it could be pretty scary up there. Especially when it was really windy like it was some of the nights.
As she drove, she smiled as she remembered the night she got the keys to the roof access of both buildings. It's amazing how far you could get in this city with a pretty face and a flirty attitude. It's too bad all of the flirting she had done was fake, and she still had yet to find someone who really stood out to here. Tico was one of her best friends, and she's sure if he wasn't gay he'd be her soul mate. But considering his sexuality conflicted things between them, they were destined to remain cuddle buddy best friends. To be honest, that didn't bother her one bit. If they were to date ever it would be ridiculously awkward. Looking out in the distance she saw the strip and smiled some to herself. She may miss home, but Vegas was growing on her quickly.
As she pulled into the Palms parking lot, she pulled out her iPhone and text Tico 'I'm here boo, hope your car hasn't broke down. Text me when you're here. xoxo' before leaning back into her seat with another audible sigh as she looked out the window. Staring off, she began to people watch as AFI began playing quietly in the background. If Vegas was good for one thing, it was people watching. Every few minutes, she'd look over at her phone waiting for the text, hoping Tico's car hadn't broken down.

Standing there, staring at his car for a few moments he exhaled slowly, almost reaching into his pocket, almost ready to just light up that shit now. The camaro was stalling like crazy, engine sputtering every time he turned the key.
"One more time." He muttered to himself, not really wanting to make Olivia come up here to get him. Settling back into the driver's seat with the key clutched warily in his hand he slid it in and turned. Once. Twice. Three times. "There we go." He nodded as it purred...well, growled more like. It at least was able to pull out of the lot and navigate onto the road.
The traffic was heavy as ever, and his car still moved at the same 35 mph it could manage without serious stomping on the gas. He ignored the finger several times, calm, high-induced smirk on his lips. He really didn't need another joint. But then again, he always needed another joint. It was never enough for him.
And lighting up with company was even more of a bonus. It had been a while since he'd gotten to see his girl, Olivia. Her busy with all those boys who were chasing after that fine ass. He understood. He'd just need her to fill him in on the guys he'd be keeping an eye on for her.
It was a comfortable unspoken agreement they'd come to, mostly because they both knew why he wasn't chasing after her himself. He liked it much better this way. He didn't like to compete, and he knew with Olivia looking the way she did, there would plenty.
Addressing the text with a silent nod as he was pulling off the freeway and onto the turn-off for the Palms hotel he started to reply, using one hand to maneuver the wheel into the turn, and pull him into the parking lot of the hotel. "Parking the peice of shit now~"
Cutting the car off as soon as he'd swerved messily into a space, he pushed open the door. He already saw Olivia's car further up in the parking lot, and started to head up towards it. "'Ay girl. Watchu doin' here alone, looking so fly?" He called with a smirk, tipping up his cap as he approached her.

» - - - - you call me a slut, you call me a liarI'VE GOT SO MANY NAMES, I CAN'T EVEN DENY IT - - - - - - - - « Olivia had finally closed her eyes in hopes of getting some kind of rest before Tico had gotten there. Not only would it help her insomnia situation but it would help time pass. Listening to her music quietly, her thoughts were all on one person, a person she'd never admit they were about. Sighing angrily, she opened her eyes to now distract herself from these thoughts as she heard her phone vibrate. She didn't even have to look over at it as she reached out to take it in her hand, unlocking the screen and reading the text message.
Parking the peice of shit now~ she laughed aloud as she read this. His car really was a piece of shit, which is why she'd normally drive him everywhere. Not to mention majority of the time he was high off his ass too. She wouldn't be surprised if he was today either, that's just how Tico rolled. She had lived in California all of her life and only smoked a few times here and there. Then she moved to Vegas and met Tico and she's almost smoking nightly. It really does help ease her thoughts and pain, though. So in a way, she thaned Tico for being her bad influence.
Hearing Tico's voice echo through the parking lot as he called out to her, she couldn't help but shake her head and laugh as she rolled up the windows. Then after opening the door, she locked them and gently shut the door as she leaned against it with her hand on her opposite him. Raising an eyebrow, she chuckled as she looked up into his cherry red glossy eyes. Oh yeah, he was high alright. As she mocked his ghetto voice, she smiled as she walked up to him and said, "you know how it is, man. Bitches be laggin' n shit. But I'm just waitin for my bro. What's a fine ass homie like you doin' walkin' through this parkin' lot alone?"
Smiling up at him, she then proceeded to walk towards the elevator, knowing he'd most likely follow and sneak an arm around her shoulders.
