- conservatism: he haaates it. there is nothing worse than telling tobi you're a republican; he will judge you immediately and in all likelihood want nothing to do with you. he's flamingly liberal and a borderline communist to boot.
- country music.

- when people take themselves too seriously, especially girls; he likes his women chilled out and comfortable in their own skins.

- capitalism: don't try to get into a philosophical discussion with tobi about capitalism vs communism; he feels no need to explain himself. as far as he is concerned capitalism does nothing but fatten the lucky few and starve/step on the unfortunate majority.
- winter/ the cold.
- violence: he's a lover, not a fighter.

- weed; this boy is a-money smacked pretty much 95% of the time, and if he's not absolutely doped out, he's coming down, rolling a joint, and getting ready to fly high again.
- music; he's been around the hip/hop and local rap culture since his first years in high school, and he loves what he does best, which is beat boxing (though he's started learning how to use computer systems to compose beats as well, though it's only been within the last year or so that he's started using mediums other than just his mouth).
- all people chill: hey, man, if you're cool, laid-back, mellow, etc, chances are tobi will think you're alright.
- girls: tobi's a shameless flirt, which is funny, because he isn't honestly the biggest catch in the world; but what he lacks in attractive features he makes up for in laid-back confidence and a no harm no foul attitude when it comes to women.
- partying: he loves to have a good time, and he's one of those guys who has a pretty easy time mingling with people regardless of knowing them or not. he can hold his liquor pretty well and he is an excellent beer pong player.
- street art: although he doesn't have any artistic talent, tobi has great respect and appreciation for street artists, specifically those who do graffiti. many of his friends from high school tag, and he hangs out with them to watch them do their work.
- food: he munchies it up often. hard core. he likes sour things the best, and it's a wonder he hasn't lost all his teeth to his habitual sugar usage.
- communism: sounds like a fuckin' awesome idea.

- that america is just going to get more conservative and more capitalist and more willfully ignorant of how broken of a system it truly is (there's a reason this guy smokes so much: he is overwhelmed by how much he fears for the country he lives in).
- that he and kenny won't make it big.
- that he'll flunk out of school.
SECRETS :
- he knows about kenny and has since they were kids.
- he's not as vapid as he lets on.
WEAKNESS :
- cute girls who let him buy their drinks.

STRENGTHS :
- music: he's good at what he does.
- calming people down: tobi is really incredible when it comes to breaking up fights or chilling people out; he can talk just about anyone down from a temper tantrum. it helps that he's generous with his weed and is willing to pass the joint around if it relieves some of the tension.
OVERALL PERSONALITY :

- relaxed/chill: there is probably no one else on the planet that is as laid back and generally despondent than tobi can be. those who've known him for years might have seen him really lose his temper once, maybe twice. he just doesn't let things get to him the way most people do (plus, the copious amount of weed that he smokes on a regular basis also helps). he's even tempered and relaxed just about all the time.
- flirtatious: tobi loves to flirt! he loves girls and flirts to have a good time. he's not much of a lady killer, and he's usually rejected more than he scores, but he has a deep, chilled out respect for women. he hates the guys who fly through women and toss them aside left and right; he thinks they're dumb as shit.
- secretive: it's not really that he actively tries to hide things from other people, it's just that tobi doesn't really... talk about important things. there's a reason most everyone who meets him thinks he's permanently altered by drugs and dumb as a rock: he doesn't really ever feel the need to reveal the deeper, more intellectual thoughts that he is, surprisingly, fairly capable of.
- closed-minded: though he doesn't ever articulate it out loud, tobi has his own opinions, and he is very set in them. he's very liberal, somewhat socialist, and he hates everything republican and conservative. he has a grudge against the south for being largely both of those two things, and he definitely makes judgements before he's really gotten to know people based on what they think about politics or where they're from. thankfully, he never makes any of these observations out loud, and unless he finds you really intolerable, he won't show it either.
- self-assured: tobi really does not have a problem with self confidence, at all. he's totally comfortable in his own skin and has a surprisingly reasonable and realistic vision of himself. he knows he has flaws, he knows he smokes too much weed, he knows he's not nearly as charming as he acts, but he just takes it in stride. it's who he is, and he's pretty okay with that.
- oblivious: while his habitual smoking hasn't yet affected his ability to think and reason, it has made him a little oblivious. he's not particularly observant, and he zones out often into his own thoughts; often, he'll have to be called back into paying attention to whatever is going on around him. he's also not very good at picking up subtle details about other people, which can blind him to a person's true nature.
- honest: he doesn't give ten shits; lying takes way too much effort.
- musical: "you know i made this beat with my mouth and a bell?" he can make some pretty sick beats, though he doesn't do it upon request. he isn't that cheap, thank you.
- spiritual: although he has a lot of issues with the catholic church (in which he was raised by a fairly devout mother), he has respect for religion and people who devote themselves to a higher purpose. he personally has doubts, but he goes to church on occasion, stoned out, and sits in the pews thinking.
- lazy: he'd rather just not to anything aside from rolling a joint and watching classic movies. it's going to be a miracle if he makes it through college.

OVERALL HISTORY :
he grew up on the rougher side of town in the projects; his dad bailed on him early on, and it was just his mother and himself taking care of his two younger siblings. he managed to do okay in school, though he still doesn't quite know how he graduated, seeing as he has very few memories of actually studying or focusing on school. he met his best friend and bro soul mate kenny in middle school and they've been fast friends ever since. kenny was the one to introduce him to rap and beat boxing, the latter of which tobi had a keen talent for from the very beginning.
he still spends most of his time away from campus, helping around at home and hanging out with kenny and his friends from his old neighborhood. because of this he hasn't quite adjusted to college life just yet, preferring to stick to what and who he knows as opposed to diing head first into campus life.
besides. he doesn't really have interest in college academics anyway. he only came because his mother wanted him to go to college in hopes he'd turn his life around and become a lawyer or something equally impressive. unlikely.
