John has a real way with words. He can figure out someone in a few seconds and at least attempt to get them to do anything he wants them to do...lots of the time, it tends to work, even if it's just a matter of giving them some money.
-Closed up
John is surprisingly closed up for how open with himself he pretends to be. He really hates the scared little child he really is, so he puts on a mask. No one will find out what's really going on with him. No one.
-Has a large ego
Because of his money and his power, he assumes he's the best thing ever. If anything starts to say otherwise, he'll fight it off viciously. The best thing to do around him is smile and nod unless you want to be in pain.
-Sarcastic
John's only real capability of saying positive things to others is through sarcasm. He can't help it...being honestly nice just isn't in his person anymore.
-Hard working (well, at least he pretends he is)
John spends almost 99% of his time at work. He just feels a certain comfort being in his office away from his family.
-Surprisingly low self esteem
Mostly just from what he heard growing up as a child. He blocks it out by drinking heavily and chain smoking and taking it out on his kids, hoping no one will notice.
-Sneaky
John has this ability to do things he shouldn't do and not get caught for the longest time. It's the skill he's most proud of. He usually pushes the blame onto someone else just so the cops can think they're getting someone in trouble for it.
-Positive thinker
John likes to think that things will always, always, always work out for him, no matter what happens. Even when he was arrested, he spent his time being positive...that was the only way that he was able to survive jail at all.
-Violent
John actually enjoys getting into fights and hurting others. He can't really help it...it makes him feel better about himself when he's able to overpower someone else.
-Charming
Even though he's mostly an ass, John knows how to make people like him by pretending to be ultra charming. He doesn't care what it is that he has to do, he just cares what the outcome is. He has the capability of making everyone he feels he needs to feel like a princess.
-Classy (well, he thinks he is anyway)
Most of the things he gets are really expensive, mostly to show off how rich he is. He adores his pricey suits and his good quality whiskey and his cigarettes (cigars only on special occasions). He thinks that people who can't live like this are pointless to even have around.

OVERALL HISTORY :
John was born in New York to parents who were surprisingly pretty rich for the times they were. He was a lonely only child, but his nannies and servants tended to give him anything he wanted, so he decided it made up for it. His mom (who ran a makeup shop) and dad (who was the head of a cigarette company) were barely home. When his dad ever was home, the place was full of yelling and John getting beaten. He likes to try to forget about those times.
It was in high school when he met his ex wife, Tamera. They hit it off really well, mostly because he got to do all the talking, and she mostly just smiled and nodded and did what he asked. After a while, they had Jr....and even later, they had Annie. He wasn't sure if he was going to be able to take having children, but he decided it was worth a shot. After all....they were just little people he could make into whatever he wanted....it was like a Christmas gift.
When what he'd been doing to his children had been found out, his whole world turned upside down. Suddenly, he wasn't even allowed to be near his kids. Suddenly, other people had control of him, and he knew he didn't like that. Thankfully, though, when he got let out for good behavior, he was able to change things for the better. He talked Tamera into bringing Jr with her and spending a day with him and he was able to find a home next door to his used-to-be family. Now he just has to sit back and wait.
