OVERALL HISTORY :

Vin doesn't see the world the same way as everyone else. His reality is totally different from everyone else's. The skies are florescent pink and green during the day and a pure white at night. He can see goldfish flying through the sky and plants as street lamps. He has four pet cats that no one can even see and a dog that has four tails and three eyes. But Scout is the only 'real' thing he can see.

He believes girls breathe from the gills in the sides of their necks. That's why boys don't go near them when they're younger. The thought of gills used to scare him, but now he finds it quite endearing. It's a shame they're not really there. He's quirky and clearly over-imaginative which can get him into a lot of trouble.

He's not a shy person unless you point out his sanity or lack there of. He's chatty and quick to point out things that are going on in his world which can frighten some people. He doesn't have many friends, and is always trying to make more. He's always energetic and gets a buzz when people ask him about his world. Vinny is seventeen years old and isn't an introvert when it comes to his clothing. They just match his personality.

He isn't looking for anything more or less that friendship and gets a little self-conscious when people try and go further. He'd rather just have a million friends. So that's little ol' Vin. Oh and by the way, the mouse you're using with the computer? He says he's hungry, maybe a little more cheese?


When Vin was seven years old, he and his sister were coming home from school when a boy in the year above attacked them with a baseball bat. Vinny received a blow to the head and woke up in hospital a week later. His sister was unhurt. Since then he has been able to see things other people can't. His doctor assumes it would fade over time, but it's still as bright now as it was back then. Vinny takes medication to shop his panic attacks and generally lives a normal life. He wants to learn about his condition more, but he knows he isn't smart enough. Instead he draws and writes about it.

His mother picked up on his skills and immediately thought about his future. He could certainly make a career out of it! So he was signed up to go to Las Vegas, the brightest city in the worl.
