WHY NOT EXPLORE OUR WORLD AND SEE ITS DEPTHS.
WHY NOT EXPLORE OUR WORLD AND SEE ITS DEPTHS.
DORIAN'S DISLIKES :
- Not Having Respect: Being uptight, Dorian is easily annoyed and quick to start his temper tantrums. He hates not being in control and is very prone to snapping at people who get in his way. Self-proclaimed king of the student body he's not prepared to give up his throne for anyone. Least of all some snotty freshman with no idea of leadership.
- Clingy People: Sometimes Dorian just needs his own personal space. He hates it when people can't let go and he needs time to sort his own issues before helping anyone else. Although he has his own protégé to feed his ego, the apprentice isn't clingy and if anything allows Dorian more space than necessary. Dorian doesn't mind the clinging from people he wants to cling, but otherwise you can get lost because he doesn't give two monkeys for you.
- Being Controlled: By Women There is nothing Dorian dislikes more than being in the shadow of a woman. Dorian assumes he got his minor misogyny from the fact his mother is never around. He has a very old fashioned view of women, still thinking they should stay at home and do whatever it is women do during the day.
- Sweets: Being diabetic, Dorian isn't really fond of sweet things. Chocolate is just too sweet and definitely not for him. He's also too stuck on his slim figure to want to eat anything remotely fattening. Overall sweets are not for him – but if he's trying to impress someone, or has been given a sweet gift, he'll probably eat it. Even if it makes him feel sick.
- Snow: Dorian hates anything that makes him cold and snow is the worst. It's wet, cold and can be dangerous when it's slippy. He hates it and never goes out in bad weather. He'd much prefer to sit inside with a nice cup of hot coffee and a blanket – or a cuddle buddy!
- Rips In Clothes: There's nothing more annoying than finding holes in your clothes, especially if it's something you love. Dorian always finds himself in fits of anger when he finds holes in his clothes – or worse, if someone else finds them! He's managed to perfect the art of patching things up, though, but still gets annoyed at having to do it.
- Not Having Material: Dorian is always creating, when he runs out of material he can find his muse vanishing and the design ruined. He always needs something to create with and hates it when he's in the zone and has to stop.
- Cooking: You think you can't burn pasta? Think again. Dorian is a nightmare when it comes to the kitchen. He can just about survive with toast, but otherwise it's take out or nothing. Luckily his mother's new man cooks for them, otherwise Dorian is sure he would die of starvation.
- Cleaning: Although he'll tidy up his room once in a while, he won't enjoy it. That's what Maddy is for. Dorian has never vacuumed anything in his life and he isn't prepared to start now. Polishing things? No way and don't every get him started on washing dishes or wiping windows. Too much like hard work!
- Competition: Above everything, Dorian hates competition. Anything that means he has to work harder to get what he wants is bad in his books. He's especially adverse to competition for attention and he will do anything to keep the lime light to himself. And he means anything.
DORIAN'S LIKES :
- Fashion: Fashion is Dorian's own rebellion against his grandfather – who wanted him to be an upstanding gentleman of high society, Dorian wanted to be in the bright lights and flashing cameras. Although he retains the smart look and the manners his grandfather gave him he has developed this passion for the new crazes and different designs. He's learnt a lot from the magazines and it's his dream to see his own designs on the cover.
- Hanging With Friends: As a typical teenager, Dorian loves just getting out of the house and meeting up with his friends. Although he tends to look above them and doesn't always feel 'in with the crowd'. He's started to explore the other groups of people and has found himself drawn towards the more…rough crowds. Not exactly where he should be, considering his background. But something about them is exciting; he's just trying to find out what it is.
- Shooting: Not people – that's too far. But clay pigeons and the odd rabbit are fine. Growing up in the countryside, Dorian knows how to use each weapon respectively, though he'd never do it to harm anyone, he's not like that. He just enjoys having the power at his fingertips, nothing more.
- Dressing Up: Dorian's biggest secret. His alter ego 'Holly' is a part of him he'd rather people didn't find out about. He just adores the feel of the material against his skin, the primping and preening before going out and the meticulous attention to detail. He loves it all and as Holly he can be someone totally different, without anyone judging him.
- Playing Guitar: His mother has always loved the guitar and encouraged Dorian to pick it up from a young age, he does it mostly for her but it's his party trick if anyone ever calls upon a little talent. He does enjoy it, though he doesn't always let on. He just wishes he could sing a little better.
- Getting What He Wants: Doesn't everyone want their deepest desires? Well Dorian is no exception. He's flighty, manipulative and doesn't get guilty when he pushes someone too far. He's a spoilt brat and he knows it, he's just trying to get everyone else to see things the way he does.
- Being Controlled: By Men Dorian's other guilty pleasure is being dominated by men. He loves the way it feels to give up control and he's always trying to find someone willing to take up his challenge. He doesn't give up lightly and expects the other to fight for dominance. He's a little masochist and isn't scared to admit it.
- Paris: The city of love, culture and beauty. The perfect place for Dorian, in his eyes. He loves everything about the city and longs to spend the next stages of his life there. He wants to learn bout the fashion culture and how the industry works over there. Above all he wants to try the city for it's nightlife and the people who live there – hopefully he'll meet the right people to set him on his way.
- Vivienne Westwood: She is a British fashion designer and businesswoman, largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream. She's Dorian's main inspiration and her quirky fun clothes are the things he aims for. Something that will look good on the catwalk and the high street. He loves looking at her designs and trying to put his own spin on them.
- Make-Up: Whether he's Holly or Dorian, he always wears a little make up – whether it be concealer, mascara or even a little eyeliner. He likes the fact he can pretend to have perfect skin, and can feel like a king when he knows he looks good. It's more for the confidence boost than anything else, besides everyone looks better with it on, right?
GOALS :
- Fashion Designer: Dorian's life long dream is to be a fashion designer. Everyday he tries to make something new and is always half way through making something, no matter when you see him! His first fashion show was at high school and someone offered him a placement at a local magazine for work experience. He fell in love immediately and is aspiring to go back full time.
- Work With Vivienne Westwood: His inspiration, Dorian would love to just meet her, but work with her would be above anything he'd ever done. He's always trying to see her work first hand and has even met people she's worked with. But he's yet to see her and he has far too many things to ask if he does.
- Comfortably Rich: Although he already has enough money to last him a lifetime, he wants to be proud of himself and make it on his own. He's looking for a penthouse apartment in New York and knows that if he achieves it he can be sure that he can complete things on his own and really make something of himself.
- Fashion Week: Just to attend fashion week in London and Paris would be one of his dreams. He loves the inspirational work and the beautiful models that people work with. He just wants to see the beautiful designs and even take a few ideas for himself!
- To Travel: The new cultures, new designs and new experiences everything from different places he can work with. He can't wait to travel the world just as his mother has done and see all the things she has seen. Just to know what's out there.
FEARS :
- Messing Up His Education
- Being Lonely
- Dying
SECRETS :
- Cross-dresser
-
SlutSatyriasis
WEAKNESS :
- Stubborn
- Short Attention Span
STRENGTHS :
- Has A Way With Words
- Needlework
OVERALL PERSONALITY :
- Affectionate: Being on his own so often you would think Dorian was cold and distant, but no. He's always craving attention and is far too affectionate for his own good. He is always hanging off someone's arm and brushing their hair out of their eyes. He adores cuddles and just curling up with someone. But he doesn't ever show what side of him unless he's completely comfortable.
- Forgiving: Dorian hates this side of him, but he can never hold a grudge. Not really. The longest he went was about three days. He's always the first to give in and apologise and if anyone gets a chance to apologise to him first he forgives them straight away. No matter what they have done.
- Expansive: Generally friendly and easy to talk to, Dorian isn't ruling the school after doing nothing. He works hard to make sure he knows everyone and it very able to step in for someone's defence. He doesn't particularly like people who are rude and bully others and he always tries to fix up any issues people have with each other.
- Controlling: Probably his worst trait. Unless you know him more than a fired, Dorian is controlling and he knows he has the power to determine most social outcomes. He is manipulative to the max and only just manages to stay far enough away so that when things get messy he isn't to blame.
- Wasteful: Having grown up with money, Dorian doesn't hold back on his spending. He knows he should start saving for things, but why bother when everything is handed over on a platter? He always uses things for five minutes and then gets bored so throws them away. Countless items have been binned after one use, and he just doesn't seem to care.
- Lack Of Self-Faith: Dorian, surprisingly has very low self-esteem. He always guesses it's from the fact he wasn't helped much as a child and sometimes finds himself in situations he can't handle. Which makes his issue worse. He always thinks people hate him – though they probably do – and has finally come to the realisation that he's pretty worthless really.
- Dishonest: Although Dorian pretends to pride himself on his honesty, he's pretty bad when it comes to the truth. He likes twisting people's words and generally makes a mess of everything. He's not scared to make up stories either and always makes sure he knows the latest gossip to keep up with the times.
- Jealous: If you're with Dorian you are with all of him. He hates people trying to steal things from him – especially boys – and he will get into fights with people he things are trying to challenge him. He's not afraid of a few bruises. You can always tell when Dorian gets jealous and he gets really angry when people find it cute – which they generally do.
- Trusting: As well as forgiving, Dorian is always quick to trust people, even if he tries to convince himself otherwise. He doesn't let out his secrets easily, but if he has talked to you more than twice he'll probably consider you trustworthy. Plus with all his inside gossip he knows who to look out for!
- Determined: Knowing his goals from a young age Dorian is always determined to complete them. He works hard to complete tasks and still manages to keep up his good grades. The expanse of clothes he has made should tell you that he works hard, if nothing else. He will reach his goals one day. He's sure of it.

HOMETOWN : Soho, London
CURRENT RESIDENCE : Las Vegas.
MOTHER'S NAME : Kimberly Jane Moore
FATHER'S NAME : Michael Harrold Jacobs
SIBLINGS : None
OVERALL HISTORY :
The Moore's have always been a rich family. Right back to the sixteenth century when they first moved into the vast English country side. They bought a large estate covering over one hundred acres, with enough rooms to house a football team and then some.
For generations the family stayed in the estate, slowly branching out and buying flats in Paris, Rome, Madrid and finally coming to the decision they would purchase a property in London. They had never been keen on the busily city and the bright lights until Dorian's Mother moved there for her university education.
She fell in love with Soho almost immediately, becoming obsessed with the night life, her money being spent on films and the arts. Every night was spent at the theatre soaking up as much culture as she could hold. Always returning to 'Daddy' for a little extra cash.
From the 1930s to the early 1960s, Soho folklore states that the pubs of Soho were packed every night with drunken writers, poets and artists, many of whom never stayed sober long enough to become successful. She became one of them, drunk on life and hungover every morning, she became a fleeting night owl, never staying in one place for long.
Dorian's father, Nicholas, had always lived in Soho. By the mid-19th century, all respectable families had moved away, and night-walkers, music halls and small theatres had moved in. Along with his grandparents. Norwegian in decent they had come to England, as most do, to seek their fortune. Expecting London to be paved with gold.
The two met in a night club on Saturday night, but it would take him three years to pluck up the courage to ask her on a date. He was madly in love, and she was madly in lust. When Dorian was born the two had separated, though on good terms, and the young baby was brought up by his Grandfather back home.
Dorian was given strict elocution lessons, shooting, horse-back riding. During that time his mother had returned to her adventurous self. Sneaking off to distant lands for months on end without so much as a goodbye. During their time apart Dorian became fascinated with his mother's outlook on life. Taking a shine to Soho, just as his mother had done - though it had changed drastically since she was young. He obsessed over the fashions, the bright colours and bizarre designs and began to form some of his own. Sketch books were filled in weeks and spread across his bedroom floor. His grandfather tried to defer him onto more... masculine things, shooting was back on the agenda and try as he might Dorian couldn't get away from it.
When his mother returned from one of her trips Dorian begged her to take him with her, he wanted to explore new cultures and add to his expanding portfolio. But she refused. Saying life on the move was terrible for a teenager. But eventually he broke her down and for his sixteenth birthday (having finished his private education) she agreed to take him to America. Where they never left.
At eighteen, Dorian still gets his allowance from his grandfather and sometimes treats from his mother, but he has begun to sell on his ideas to the clothing world. Although making a small name for himself, he hasn't yet cracked it and spends all of his free time drawing. Slowly he began to realise that he had essentially moved to America to sit on his own and draw. Not really something he wanted to do, so to try and fit with the masses he joined in the last years of American education, to try and gain some inside knowledge on the latest trends and work out were his designs were going wrong.
