Who needed Disney Movies and cuddle sessions when you had an xbox 360? Not Annabel, that was for sure. And not Simon, since he was on his way over to play Call of Duty, and any other xbox games they could get their hands on. Not to mention, some Michelob beer. Really, Ana was excited for the company of Simon. He seemed awful cool, but had only hung out a few times before this.
Walking over to the thirty-two inch flat-screen tv, she turned it on and along with the xbox 360. It may not be a date. It may not be anything more than two geeky-nerds playing video games all night and drinking beer. But, before he showed up, she went into her bathroom, brushed her hair, her teeth, washer her face...put on some make up (but not enough to look intentional...of course.) and put her hair up in a ponytail.
Walking out of the bathroom feeling refreshed, she changed into a pair of soffee shorts and a tank top, then went into the kitchen, grabbing a beer and opening the top, taking a sip, she walked back into the 'living room' and plopped down on the leather couch, setting her beer down on the small side table next to her. Hmmm, now to wait on sir Simon.

Simon was actually quite relieved not having to spend a night watching old, lame Disney chick flicks. Lord knew Caleb and Freude would be going at it like the rabbits they tended to be. And Blaine and Farren. Eurgh, he didn't even want to think about it.
The fact of the matter was, he'd counted himself out. And after a little more deciding, had ended up with an invitation to Annabel's dorm for a little COD and whatever other games she happened to have handy. Luckily she had the beer there handy as well. Usually, when he hung out with chicks, they'd always have some fruity drinks, or wine coolers. So, he had to give props to Anna for not being one of those chicks.
He hadn't dressed up much, was just going in his jeans and a blue-checkered button up. An old pair of sneakers on his feet, and his hair combed back as best as he could manage and he was ready to head over to the girl dormitories.
Well, it wasn't his first time over to them. Some of the girls sitting around the mess hall would give him a knowing wave and he'd just smirk and throw them a nod. For once, he wasn't here to work his Simon magic, he was just playing a few good xbox games with a cool chick. It was refreshing.
Leaning against the door frame of room 205, he knocked on the door a few times. The door opened to two homely girls in their pajamas, staring at him with wide-eyes.
"Oh, ahhh....uhm, sorry wrong dorm." He said awkwardly, stepping away from the door as the girls shut the door disappointedly. "206." He grumbled to himself, feeling rather idiotic. Finally approaching the correct (hopefully) door, he gave another knock, smoothing out a wrinkle in his shirt as he waited for Annabell to answer the door.

Setting the black xbox controller down on the coffee table, she stood, straightening out her tank top, then walking to the door, opening it and coming face-to-face with Simon. Smiling, she giggled. "Ahhh, did you meet our neighbors?" She asked curiously, stepping out of the way so he could walk in. "What did you wanna play first? Call of Duty, Split Second....I have a bunch of games, you can pick. Some are arcade games already on the xbox.."
Yeah, okay. She was a huge nerd. She knew it. Thankfully, she only wore glasses on rare occasions. Anna did her best to /not/ look totally nerdy. But, maybe it suited her? More guys would hang out and play video games with her...until they realised she'd probably end up kicking their asses 20-5. Closing the door after he walked in, she motioned towards the kitchen. "Beer is in the fridge, but since you're the guest, want one now? Or something else?"

Chuckling slightly as he came inside he nodded, "Oh yeah. Couple of man eaters, from what I could tell." He joked lightly, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he recalled his recent goof-up. Eyes moving over to the large stacks of games near the console, his brow raised in an impressed manner,
"Damn, nice little collection you got there." It was anything but little, he just tossed that in there to see if he could get her to roll her eyes. Smirking lightly, he walked over and stooped down, head cocking to the side as he looked over the games. "Yeah, Call of Duty or Mortal Kombat." He said with a nod, still looking over games before he finally stood back up and turned towards her.
"Beer sounds just fine." He nodded appreciatively. He had held off on having one before coming here, as he usually had two or three beers in a night. He was about ready to gulp a whole one down right now, but he wouldn't. This was a casual video game night, but it was still with a chick and he didn't feel comfortable chugging down a beer in front of a girl, it wasn't attractive. And lord knew Simon always had to be attractive for the ladies.

"Yeah, I don't know how they do it!" Anna joked back. Not that her neighbors were bad, but they weren't exactly like....model-attractive. Hearing his comment, she giggled, rolling her eyes at him. Yeah, little alright. She remembered saving up and buying each and every one of them. "Alright, go ahead and put in whatever. I'll grab you a drink."
Walking off into the small kitchen, she opened the fridge, grabbed out a cold beer, and popped the top off, making her way back towards Simon. "I'm glad someone else plays video games! Back in high school, I thought I was the only one. Whenever I'd talk about them, people would look at me like I was a freak or something." Anna shrugged, handing the beer over to Simon before picking up her own and taking a drink, plopping down on the couch.
It was true, most people made fun of her for it. Wasn't it true many, if not all, guys played video games? Was it some kind of stereotypical thing for girls to not like them, and to go break their boyfriends Black Ops disc? That was kind of extreme. Video games were an outlet for rage sometimes. With all the shooting, stabbing, and round-house kicking....Anna didn't see a problem with it. It's more fun then going out, getting drunk, and having sex with random guys, then getting knocked up. At least to her it was... [/center]
