"friends": percy likes to surround himself with people, which is funny, since his natural inclination towards most anyone is to immediately dislike them. he hates to be alone, though, and so he has a large group of friends - generally from the fine arts demographic - that he socializes with. he tolerates them, and they tolerate him, and as a group they party, have fun, and get messed up. it's not a bad arrangement, since percy is pretty proficient at hiding any bad feelings he might have for people.
actual friends: these are rare; percy might have five or six people that he truly considers to be important to him. there are a few reasons for this, the first one being that obviously percy just... doesn't really like people. the second is that he is not always very kind to his friends. he doesn't mistreat them, persay, but the simple fact of the matter is that they have to put up with his temper, his high standards, and his demanding personality. BUT, there is a silver lining to being percy's friend, and that is of course that he would probably happily jump in front of a freight train for you. or try and beat up your ex boyfriend, whichever. he might not show his affections often or easily, but he's loyal and honest and his self preservation disappears when someone he loves is in trouble.
enemies: lol yeah. a lot of people are immediately turned off of percy - he's stubborn, strong willed, opinionated, and he's a stone cold diva bitch on top of all of that. thankfully for him, he knows h8ers gonna h8.
rivalries: within the liberal arts department, percy tends to pick out the most talented and successful and form immediate and often surprisingly strong rivalries with them. he loves a challenge, and regardless of how the other party feels about the relationship, percy really really enjoys the competition he strikes up in some people.
significant others: unlikely. percy has had one real, legitimate relationship, and it went to hell in a handbasket. since then he's kept to flings and one night stands. as far as what he sees in an ideal partner: good looks, dumb, easily manipulated, won't snuggle (dear god, no). what he refuses to admit he likes in guys, of course, is none of those things: intelligence, wit, sarcasm, talent, good looks and a stubborn enough personality that they'll make him cuddle even if he doesn't want to. if he feels himself becoming attracted someone, he'll whip out a can of self-punishing denial and beat his feelings into submission.
yeah he's a winner.
