OVERALL HISTORY :
Anastasia's story is somewhat unique, in some ways it's a miracle she's even here to tell you this story. It was a beautiful day in San Francisco, the clouds were only partially covering the sky and there was no fog to be seen. Anastasia's parents, Judith and Victor, were sitting in a park right before North Beach. Victor was tracing his finger along Judith's 6 month baby bump as she smiled and looked up to the sky with joy, thanking whatever higher power blessed her with this child before looking back to her husband. They both exchanged a loving glance before everything took a turn for the worst. A sharp pain radiated from her belly button down into her right side as Judith screamed out in pain, she felt a warm liquid run down her leg as she looked to her husband in horror and they immediately rushed to the hospital.[/blockquote]
As Judith laid on the cold, uncomfortable hospital, she gasped and held her stomach with pain while Victor paced around the room staring at his wife, unsure of what to do. When the doctor finally came back in, his pace was slow and his attitude calm as if nothing was wrong. He looked over Judith as she lay on the table in distress, her dark brown eyes cringing with pain as her brown hair clung to the sweat on her forehead. Looking up at the doctor in desperation, she begged for an answer with her eyes. Nodding as he took a step closer, his eyes scanning over the papers in his hand, he turned to both Victor and Judith as he spoke in a deep masculine tone.
"We're going to have to get you to an OR immediately and get that baby out of there, she's suffocating."
After hearing those words, both of their hearts sank in great fear. This child was a blessing, they couldn't lose her. Who knew if they'd be able to have another child? No, they must not think this way. Anastasia was going to survive, she had to.
Not even an hour later, Judith woke up to see Victor smiling softly as he looked down at her, but the first thing she noticed was it didn't reach his eyes. That's when the fear came back and she inhaled a deep breath, "where is Anastasia?"
That's when his smile faded into a slight, grim frown as he replied, "she's under very close watch, since she's premature, there are a lot of health risks that the doctors need to watch out for. The good news, though, is our Anastasia is alive."
Sitting up as fast as she can, cringing at the pain, she wrapped her shakey arms around her husband and began to sob uncontrollably, thankful that her daughter was alive but also so scared for her daughter's future.

"Ana!!" Judith called out several times, searching frantically for Judith in the busy streets of Fisherman's Wharf. She knew it was a mistake to bring her over into such a busy place with so many things to look at, ever since Ana could walk, she was so curious about everything and moved at such a fast pace it was almost impossible to keep up with her. Then, a sigh of relief escaped Judith's lips as she saw Anastasia's dark brown hair whipping violently in the wind as she stared out at the ocean, her small fingers clung to the safety wires as her wide brown eyes looked down with enthusiasm.
"What are you doing over here, Ana?" her mother asked breathlessly, placing a hand on her shoulder gently as she looked out at the sea also.
"I'm waiting for the mermaids, momma. I coulda sworn I saw one!" she looked up at her mother excitedly as she heard her mom laugh and watched her get on her knees, so she could be the same height. Looking at Ana with the same enthusiasm her daughter's eyes shown, she played along and asked, "oh yeah? And where was this mermaid at?"
Pointing out by the Bay Bridge as Ana smiled and shouted, "over there momma! She was beautiful too."
Smiling down at her daughter, she took her hand and said, "we have to meet daddy now for dinner, okay? We'll come look at the mermaids after."
"Promise?"
"I promise sweetie."

As she walked through the halls of high school, Ana always had her proper posture and although many of the kids towered over her they were all intimidated by her. Walking further down the hall she saw her best friend Karina and the two bimbos that would stand beside them for a week before they realized they were far too inferior to become a part of their group. Smiling her always sweet smile, she hugged Karina and then waved at the other two girls as they proceeded to walk down the hallways. Everyone stared at them, some even referred to them as "the plastics of Mission High." Although Ana was always considered a member of their royal court, but was never treated like them. Every clique showed her respect, she was considered the "wandering princess" of the school.
She loved her high school more than anything.. Well, besides one thing: Karina's parties. Anyone who was anyone was invited, and even the people who were nobodies would end up crashing them. To be super cliche, Karina even had literal thrones for Ana and herself to sit in. That was the night that changed everything for Ana. Her first love Anthony was sitting beside her in a basic fold out chair when he leaned over and kissed her cheek before telling her he wanted to go get another drink. Smiling and nodding, she told him to hurry back and that she'd miss him. As he turned away, she couldn't help but notice he had winked at Karina. Ana thought she had been crazy when she saw this but when she turned to look at Karina, she was slithering out of her throne and turned to Ana.
"I'll be back, gotta use the restroom. Hold the fort, okay?"
Hearing her best friend, she knew immediately that something was wrong and her best friend was lying to her. She tried her best to hold her composure as she nodded and smiled, waiting for Karina to disappear into the crowd before following her.
Reaching her bedroom door, she quietly pressed her ear against the door, her jaw dropping and her eyes turning darker with horror as she heard her best friend moaning her "love of her life"'s name. It took everything in her not to beat down that door and tear her best friend apart, but that wasn't her style. She wasn't one for violence, everyone knew that. Instead, she felt her heart sink down to her stomach and swallowed the lump in her throat, fighting back the tears as she regained her proper posture and walked back down stairs, her jaw locked the entire time as she went and sat in her throne, tapping her foot as she patiently waited for the two traitors to return.

"Ana, we need to talk to you," Judith knocked quietly on Ana's door as she heard her daughter's sobs from deep inside the room.
"Go away, please mom..." Ana whimpered back in response, before hearing the door knob turn and the door open slightly, the only light streaming through the hallway like a strike of lightning.
Curling up into a tighter ball, Ana looked at her mom with tear stained cheeks as she walked into the room, Victor following behind her solemnly. As they both sat at the foot of the bed, Judith rest her hand gently on Ana's knee before letting out a sigh as she began to explain, "we didn't know how to tell you this, but tonight seemed right," pausing for a minute, she took a deep breath and continued, "since the school year's over, I figured it was best for us to finally tell you. We're moving to Las Vegas the day after your last day of school. Since it's a few weeks away, we figured you might want to start packing now."
Any other week, Ana would have been destroyed, but after she had already been so broken, she was excited to be able to start over. New life, new school, new friends; a chance for her to start over. Things would be different this time, she vowed to herself. And after the four years she had spent in Vegas, she had been true to her vow. She avoided the higher court of kids in her high school and was now avoiding them in college. All seemed to be well in her world, for now...

ROLE PLAY SAMPLE :
Sitting in her throne, Ana's heel tapped against the wooden floor of the patio Karina and her thrones were placed on. Her jaw remained locked as her entire body was tense. Her dark brown eyes gazed across the entire party, everyone smiling and laughing, grinding against each other and practically having sex in front of everyone. A cold, sarcastic chuckle came from deep inside her throat as she shook her head in disbelief. Had the manners of her peers always been this disorderly and revolting? Or had her opinions just drastically change due to recent events? Hearing your best friend making love with the love of your life, your first love who you had been dating since October of your freshman year, would change any girls perspective, right? Ana liked to think so as she simmered quietly, waiting for Karina and Anthony to return.
As Anthony began to make his way back through the crowd, Ana laughed again. The sound was so foreign, if Ana hadn't known that she was the one who just laughed she would have thought a stranger was sitting beside her. Taking a deep breath, she attempted to calm herself. Her heart beat was racing as the adrenaline made it's way through all of the veins in her body. There were no words that could express the anger she had towards the two as she gripped onto the throne, digging her long manicured nails into the fabric violently. It took everything in her power not to push him away as he kissed her cheek before sitting beside her again. Her eyes were filled with rage as she sat there in complete disgust after his lips touched hers, she wanted to wipe the kiss off more than anything because who knows where the hell else his mouth had been. Her heart beat became so rapid it felt like it was going to fall right out of her chest as she saw Karina. She had to grip onto the throne tighter to keep her from lunging at her as she walked back up and sat down in the throne with a heavy sigh.
As Ana turned to look at her, she realized how ugly she really was. It could have been because of what she did, but she really was not as attractive as everyone made her out to be. Her "blonde" hair was extremely fried, making all of her ends look split and her poor attempt to hide it by curling it only made it look worse. Her skin had an unnatural orange tint to it from her hours in the tanning salon. As she sat there, she contemplated how to bring it up. She knew it wouldn't be long for Karina to stand up again, the girl was restless. That was when she'd make her move.
Not even five minutes later, Karina had downed a whole cup of Skyy vodka with cranberry. Getting up out of her throne, she wobbled off the patio and Ana smiled, now's my time she thought to herself as she stood up also.
As she heard Karina's flake, plasticy tone ask, "oh are you going to come dance with me Anabear?" she knew that she couldn't hold in her anger anymore.
"Oh, no, I'm sorry," Ana said, mocking Karina's sugary sweet talk so well it sounded like she was legitimately talking like that, "I'm going to have to pass, I thought you were going to run off and fuck my boyfriend again."
Paying no attention to the gasps that escaped from the lips of all of her peers, she took a step closer, looking up at Karina with hatred in her eyes before she continued to vent out the pent up anger she'd held in far longer than she ever thought she could.
"Let me guess, you both thought you were really slick when it came to sneaking around behind my back, but I knew. I knew it all along. I just regret that I didn't see how much of a whore you were from the start," she looked down at her drink, mixing it some with a motion of her wrist as she looked back up at her. "You're nothing but a slippery, slimey bitch. I never want to see you again!" she shouted as she extended her arm, flicking the cup in Karina's direction as the entire Skyy and cranberry she had only a sip of covered Karina's white dress.
Looking around, she saw everyone staring with a shocked gaze. No one had ever seen Ana upset, and she knew that it was a shock to everyone. Hell, it was a shock to herself. She was pushed too far this time, though. It was about time she pushed back. Hearing her heels click against the patio, she walked passed her best friend and over to her former lover. She extended her arm again and with one swift hit, the smack echoed through the entire back yard as she glared at him, speaking in the same tone she spoke to Karina with, "you're going to regret ever doing this to me. I promise you that."
Walking out of the party, she quickly wiped the tears that were dying to fall down her cheeks with her hand as she began to walk faster. She would not let anyone in that house see her cry. She was better than that.
