Caleb wasn't really a video game person. The only console he owned was a Wii, and that was just for the karaoke games. He'd just never been very good at getting through levels of things, his attention span was probably partially to blame. Caleb could focus only so much of his attention to a controller and the screen of his tv. He was more content to sit and watch disney movies or My Life As Liz on MTV.
Sometimes, though, he would venture out of his dorm and around town, looking for something constructive to do.
An arcade wasn't made for the most constructive purpose, but he figured it was fine to keep him occupied for a short while. Where he'd really like to be right now was with Freude. Unfortunately he had to wait another few whole hours until the boy was done with whatever kind of work it was that he did.
Caleb had refused to let himself call Freude yet. He always got antsy waiting around to see the boy and called him up several times before they were to meet. Freude never really acted like it annoyed him, but Caleb knew his clingy nature could get quite hard to stand. So, here he was at the Lights and Sounds Arcade, searching for a game that he could maybe find entertainment in.
The boy was clad in his tan boat shoes, plaid in red over his top, and jeans that fit tightly around his waist- not too tightly, though. An arcade goer was the last thing he looked like, but the blonde wasn't concerned with that as he went down the aisle of games.
Pacman was the game he finally set his sights on. It was one of the only games familiar to him in here, and setting down the small backpack he'd brought along and taking his wallet up to the concession stand he ordered himself a cherry soda. He brought back over to the stop he'd set up in front of the game and put in a dollar to play.
Leaning over the machine to reach for the controls he started off the game, biting his lip and furrowing his brow in concentration. Every so often he'd reach over for his cherry soda and take a distracted sip. Focusing on this wasn't as easy as he thought, though. His eyes kept roaming to the other people in the arcade.
How could they just stand still in front of those games for so long? Caleb shifted around restlessly as he listened to the other games making noises around him. His own pacman game was making the game over sound right at the moment. With a sigh inward, he turned his face back to the screen and started it over again.

Fucking die you piece of mother fu- Jimmy growled, pointing the plastic gun at the screen and shooting as many zombies as he was allowed until he had to reload. He had been playing the same game for the last half an hour, but always got stuck on a certain level. Fuck he needed Freude here as a player two, they're own this piece of junk.
Jimmy usually came to the arcade to relieve stress, stressed caused by shooting too many people. Not that anyone knew that. What better way to relieve stress than to shoot zombies, right?
Game Over
You fucking piece of crap Jimmy growled kicking the arcade game as he stormed off. He would go back in ten minutes and try again, he knew that already. Well until he caught sight of a Mister Darling curiously walking through the arcade. Caleb Darling, urgh, even the name cause Jimmy to put his hand over his mouth to stop the vomit of fucking rainbows.
The little boy seemed to worm his way into every inch of Jimmy's life. Freude's life. Urgh, both of them! It was vile. Jimmy hated it. The thought of Freude actually falling for the boy was stupid. So stupid! And gross, and urgh!!
Jimmy shivered slightly as he watched the boy, the way his hips wiggled when he walked, the annoyingly cute expressions on his face as he slotted in a dollar or two to play...pacman. Even the games were cute games. It made Jimmy sick to his stomach.
He growled and watched the boy a little longer, his hand reaching into his pocket to touch his gun. He could shoot the boy from here, no one would know. But Freude would. Nah, he couldn't kill Caleb. That was a bad plan. Bad idea.
Jimmy clicked his tongue. Well, he might as well say hello. Anything was better than standing there like a lemon. And Caleb looked like he needed a good scare. Without Freude around the boy was a ball of nervous laughs and fast eye movements - obviously looking for an escape.
Jimmy chuckled to himself and walked over to the boy, his hands resting on the boy's hips as he placed his chin on Caleb's shoulder.
Hey Cookie he drawled, smirking to himself. Where's Freude? Not getting into trouble without me I hope.

His Cherry soda was getting on the dangerously low side, and Caleb knew concentrating on this game was going to be even harder if he didn't have anything to keep his sweet tooth satisfied. Sipping at the last bit of soda, he thought about just intentionally losing on this round of pacman. He was starting to get so good, though, and so he just set his drink aside and leaned in to get better grip on the controls.
"Run, pacman, run." He said under his breath, mouth forming an 'o' as one of the ghosts got too close. He quickly turned pacman down another path and watched as another ghost was heading right towards him. As the game over sounded again he huffed,
"Well, gosh darn it." He sighed out, letting go of the controller and thinking about whether to give it another quick go or refill his empty soda cup. Both those thoughts went out of his mind when he felt hands on his waist.
He really hoped that was just Freude. But Freude would've told him he was coming here, wouldn't he have? The voice immediately wiped away any thoughts of it being Freude behind him, and his heart skipped a beat as he realized with a slight shiver that it was Jimmy. Jimmy Noir. One of Freude's scary friends.
Freude had a lot of scary friends, but Jimmy was the scariest, and Caleb tried his very best to avoid run-ins with him. Abraham he could deal with for maybe a few minutes, but the sight of Jimmy just made his skin crawl. Swallowing hard in his now wired state he turned to look at Jimmy, sliding away from his hands and looking fearfully up into those murderous eyes.
"Don't call me that, please." He managed to choke out, attempting to seem less afraid. Jimmy was like a dog, could smell fear, at least that's how it seemed to Caleb.
"I, uh, I don't know...he's...I'm seeing him later."

Don't call you Cookie? But Freude does...I don't think there should be separate rules for separate people, that's just not fair, Jimmy teased, tugging on the boy's shirt slightly. Scaring Caleb Darling, one of his favourite past-times. Jimmy relished every moment he could spend with the boy, when Freude wasn't around, of course. Anything to get the kid to re-think being in a real relationship with Jimmy's best friend.
In short, Jimmy was jealous of them. Not the fact they were together - ugh, no - the fact they they were so happy spending time together without him! It was sickening. He was losing the one person he trusted to a sickly sweet blonde. A touchy subject to say the least.
He raised an eyebrow at Caleb's reply and tsked his tongue slightly, ruffling the boy's hair. You don't know where you own boyfriend is? he smirked, crossing both his arms over his chest as he looked the boy up and down. Aren't you worried he's having too much fun at Amnesia? You know he gets a discount there.
Smirking, he took a step back from Caleb, reaching out to take the boy's arm. You know he's just using you, don't you? His little toy to keep around and pull out whenever he needs you. Don't make the mistake of thinking he actually likes you. Wouldn't want you to get hurt, would we?

Caleb knew Jimmy didn't like him, knew he was probably the bitter friend. But, shit, he was the scariest fucking bitter friend that ever lived. If Caleb didn't love Freude so much, he probably would've gone running with his tail between his legs long ago when Jimmy came knocking. But that wasn't an option here. So, he had to stand as tall as was possible for the 5'9'' boy and try, try to look Jimmy as best he could in the eye. Show him he wasn't leaving, and he wasn't afraid (well at least, he wasn't leaving..).
"It's Freude's nickname for me. So, naturally he should be the one to call me by it. And not...anybody else." He sniffed, smoothing his shirt back down with a slightly shaky hand, glancing anxiously around the arcade as if someone was just going to whisk Jimmy away and keep him out of Caleb's hair. If only.
"I- he- he said he was doing school w-work." Caleb mumbled, ducking his head when Jimmy mussed up his perfectly styled hair. "N-no. I trust him, Jimmy." He said indignantly, although he shrank back even as the boy looked him up and down.
Flinching visibly when his arm was grabbed, he felt his heart beating with a little more urgency. Swallowing hard at the words that came out of the taller, older boy's mouth, he blinked through watery eyes,
"That's not true. He is not using me. And I know he would never hurt me. I lo- I care about him far too much to believe any of that." Caleb voiced, a bit more confident in his own words as he tried to pull his arm out of Jimmy's grip. "Some friend you are, trying to run his boyfriend off." Caleb huffed before he'd thought any better about it.

Jimmy stood still for a moment, trying not to burst out laughing at the small boy. At least Caleb was trying to act tough, which always scored points when it came to Jimmy. Doing school work? When has Freude ever done school work? Jimmy asked, and eyebrow raised slightly as he let go of Caleb and crossed both of his arms over his chest.
It was then he noticed Caleb's eyes watering slightly, letting out a chuckle Jimmy bend forward so he was almost nose to nose with he other boy. This is where you have a problem, Caleb. You're blinded by your feelings. Freude doesn't love you. He loves your ass. And the pretty noises you make when you're getting fucked.
He smirked at Caleb, straightening up slightly at the last comment, eyes narrowing. I'm not trying to run you off, babe. Just telling you the truth. Don't want little Cookie's feeling to get hurt, do we? he asked, pinching the boy's cheek.
Shaking his head he pulled out his phone and waved it in front of Caleb's face, I bet, if you called Freude right now, he wouldn't pick up the phone for you. He's too busy with some big-breasted slut to notice you.

"He's done plenty of school work since getting into college." Caleb stated plainly fists clenching at his side indignantly, eyebrows furrowed. Jimmy was all talk, wasn't he? At least with him. He knew Freude was too close a friend of his for Jimmy to ever actually do anything to drastic. Still, there was always that slightly sinister look in Jimmy's eyes that told Caleb differently. Maybe Jimmy wouldn't do anything personally, but he seemed to know a lot of people. A lot of dangerous people.
Leaning back even as Jimmy was towering in over him, he took a step away, stumbling slightly over the chord to the arcade game before look back up at Jimmy. "You DON'T know what you're talking about." Caleb huffed, narrowing his eyes again, getting his ankle from out beneath the chord of the machine.
Swallowing back a sniffle as Jimmy stuck the phone in front of his face, he scrunched up his nose and pushed it away.
"You're just a big, mean, liar who's friend is in love. Maybe if you wouldn't push people around you'd have someone to love you too." Caleb spat back, grabbing his empty soda cup and huffing off to get it refilled.
He wasn't going to flee the arcade like a scaredy-cat, he knew that would only satisfy Jimmy. He wasn't going to cry either, even though it was getting really hard for him as he rubbed his eyes and stuck the cup under the soda fountain.

Jimmy's eyebrows raised slightly as Caleb almost stood up to him. It was cute, in an I-don't-give-a-damn kind of way. Jimmy was almost impressed. But not quite. Biting back a smirk he ran his hand through his hair, waiting for the blonde to finish his little rant. The taller had always enjoyed winding up Caleb, even before they had started...eugh...dating.
It was horrible.
He frowned when Caleb mentioned love and was soon hot on the boy's heels as he followed him to the soda fountain. I knew Freude was good, but I didn't realise how good! You really believe he loves you, don't you? he smirked, covering his mouth with a hand as he snorted. He shouldn't laugh...he didn't want to hurt Caleb's feelings...
Jimmy smirked and tried to hold it in, but the expression on Caleb's face was just killing him! You can't seriously think-but you do! Oh this is precious...Why on earth would Freude go for a nobody like you? he asked, slinging his arm over the smaller boy's shoulder and pulling Caleb towards him. Two fingers slipped under the boy's chin, forcing Caleb to look up at him. You are nothing to Freude. Understand? Just a free fuck on the side. You don't know anything about him, to you he's just sweet and kind Freude. You don't know the half of it. One day you'll realise what you've got yourself into, and there won't be anyone left to help you.
Jimmy let the boy go, leaning forward slightly to press his lips to the other's ear, You better watch your back, Darling. Freude won't always be around to protect your skinny ass.

Caleb tensed up slightly when he heard Jimmy following him to the drink fountain, fidgeting nervously with the cup in his hand as he tried to hold it steady under the fountain. Swallowing the anger that was bubbling up in him, he ignored Jimmy at first. Why give him any more enjoyment out of this? Just let him say shit. Caleb knew that it wasn't true anyway. Jimmy was just trying to get under Caleb's skin, as always. Nothing new.
Wincing slightly at the word 'nobody' he kept his eyes trained determinedly on his soda cup as he put the lid back on and slid the straw back through. Flinching when Jimmy forced his chin up, Caleb moved his eyes to the side, refusing to look at the boy, glaring past him instead.
"I know him a lot better than you think you do. And I'm not nothing to him." He grunted back, swatting at Jimmy's hand even as the boy was letting go of his chin. Flinching again, away from the boy as he felt Jimmy's lips come up to his ear, he backed back towards the arcade game.
"I'm not afraid of you." He lied, voice cracking slightly even as he said it. "Nothing you have to say will make me change my mind about him because I know Freude." He said back, this time with a little more strength behind his words. Giving Jimmy the most flippant look he could manage he turned back to his game, pressing play again. Even as he felt a bit more assured in himself, he was still silently dreading that Jimmy would have something else to say.
Please let him go away... Caleb thought as his eyes shifted slightly from the game screen to where Jimmy was.

Well, Caleb Darling had turned into a fighter. It was cute. Jimmy took a step back as the boy resumed his game. His eyes slowly moved up and down the boy's body, his teeth grazing over his bottom lip. Well he knew why Freude wanted to fuck the blonde, the ass was almost perfect. But to actually fall in love? It was impossible, Freude wouldn't stoop that low just for someone to play with at night.
Clicking his tongue distractedly, Jimmy moved forward, his chest up against Caleb's back, hands gripping the boy's hips tightly to stop him moving away until Jimmy had finished with him. I have stories about Freude that would drive even you, insane. He's made of evil things, Freude, not flowers and butterflies you'd like to think. Jimmy smiled and nudged Caleb's ear with his nose, You don't know, Freude. he whispered, finally letting the blonde out of his grip.
Taking another step beck he waited for Caleb to turn round and retaliate, a small smile on his lips. Ask him what he gets up to when you're not around. If he really loves you, he'll tell you.

Caleb could just feel Jimmy's eyes on him, like a cat examining a mouse. It made him want to shiver again, but he pushed the urge out of his mind, focusing on getting pac-man out of harms way of the little ghosts. He was almost sure he was getting himself over the anxious feeling of standing a few feet away from Jimmy when the boy pressed his chest into him and then held him where he was. Caleb tried to gulp nervously, but his throat caught and he just ended up shuddering out- betraying him in his attempt to appear unphased.
His bottom lip quivered as he heard Jimmy's voice in his ear. Do not cry, Caleb. Don't you do it. He willed himself, sniffling back tears that were trying to roll down his cheek. He didn't want Jimmy to have the satisfaction of seeing him so hurt by his words. So, he just huffed and turned around when the boy finally took a step away. He set him with a fixed glare- hoping that his eyes weren't as watery as they felt, and said (bottom lip still quivering slightly),
"I don't care about any of your dumb stories, Jimmy. I know Freude isn't perfect, but I love him just the way he is. And you just need to get over it." He squeaked out, pulling a hand up to rub at one of his eyes quickly- inconspicuously of course.
