Staring at the conversation that she had just had with Blaine and Simon on the chat instantly made her shake from head to toe. She was so angry, so upset. She thought they were over this, this stupid "Let's fight to the death and talk shit" thing. It put her stomach in knots. Blaine's temper was so unbearable sometimes, when they talked about their future, she almost second guessed herself. Well, second-guessed themselves. It was tearing them apart.
Especially with the Simon thing. Apparently hanging out with him and talking to him so much had gotten people talking, and apparently they spread rumors to Blaine. Farren had thought he was fine with their friendship, having been good with being civil for the last month. Yet, only a few minutes ago, he had gone off on a tyrant, and now both were in yet another fight.
Huffing, the brunette pushed away from her computer and grabbed her messenger bag before slamming the door behind her. She needed to talk to someone. And Simon was the only one she could think of at that moment. He was her best friend after all.
It didn't take very long to get to his dorm, practically going twenty over the speed limit on the way there. She wasn't in the mood for silence. She wanted someone to be there for her and talk to her and tell her everything was going to be okay, and sitting alone in a car for thirty minutes wasnt going to achieve that.
Hurrying up the stairs and to his dorm, she stopped abruptly at the door and took a deep breath, it being very shaky from the soft sobbing she had been doing all the way there. Wiping the tears from her face she raised a shaky fist to the door and knocked softly "Simon..." she called, letting him know it was her. Compose yourself, Farr....

Simon was never surprised by Blaine's outbursts at him on these chats. He was so easily riled up over things that Simon hardly had to say anything to get him going. This time, though, Farren and him were arguing quite a bit more. He knew he probably should've felt responsible. But then again, he hadn't actually done anything. He was Farren's friend long before Blaine had come bumbling along.
The two hadn't talked in quite a long time since the two had gotten serious. It was only recently that they'd started up chatting casually again. If he were being honest with himself, he'd have to say he did miss Farren, if just a bit. She was a fun girl. Far easier to get along with than most. And Blaine, well, Blaine just made it hard to get to see her. Always breathing down her neck, glaring Simon down as if ready to pull those fucking brass knuckles of his back out at any moment.
Luckily, Farren didn't really give a shit about what Blaine said today. He probably shouldn't be as glad about that as he was. Simon was just relieved to see her doing what she wanted to do, and not what fucking Blaine asked or "suggested" of her. Was it so much to ask to get to see a good friend?
Cleaning up the dorm in a half-assed effort- because Farren had seen his dorm a mess before- he waited to hear the knock at the door. He hoped she wasn't to strung-up about this whole Blaine thing. It wasn't that he minded comforting her. It was just that it always led to him having to...feel along with her. She never liked to be the only one laying down everything that was going on. And Simon wasn't sure he was ready to talk to anyone about what was going on in his life.
His thoughts were halted when the soft knock came, and he turned from where he'd been slipping dirty magazines under his bed towards the door. Walking over carefully, almost as if as soon as he opened the door she'd burst into tears, he smiled softly, comfortingly (what he could muster of that emotion) towards her.
"Come on in, Fare." He gestured softly, holding the door open wide, hugging her once she got in. Simon wasn't much of a hugger, but he did feel she needed one, what with the pitiful look on her face. "Sorry about arguing with Blaine..." He sighed quietly, leading her over towards the couch.

As the door opened, Farren couldn't hold it in anymore, and suddenly, tears were streaming almost endlessly down her cheeks, black streaks of mascara forming lines as well. She wasn't even sure why all of this had made her upset so much. It wasn't that big of a deal really. They had just had an argument, nothing too bad. He'd probably apologize when she got home or when he got home and they'd be happy again, but it seemed like everything leading up to this had upset her. The stress, the fights, the talking about the future, all of it had just built up and was now crashing down on her.
Farren's arms wrapped around Simon's waist, tightening around him to prevent him From letting go as she cried into his chest for a few moments. She didn't know where to start. Why was she even here? Simon didn't know much about comforting girls when they cried. But in reality, he was the only one she truly trusted with relationship talk. All of her other girl-friends would jump at the sign of Blaine being angry, and would probably try to get in his pants. God knows what would happen then.
Pulling away after a moment as he lead her to the couch, she plopped down and hunched over, resting her face in her hands to wipe the mess that was now covering it. After a minute or so of silence, the brunette slowly looked up at him and sighed heavily as the boy apologized. It honestly wasn't his fault this time. Blaine was just angry, and Simon was always the one he took it out on. Unless there was something Farren was missing.
Shaking her head, she laughed it off, trying to make it seem she wasn't too upset. "It wasn't your fault...Honestly." she said. She hadn't actually gone to Simon's to talk about the chat. Mostly, she just wanted to see him to talk about the bigger picture with Blaine and her. And the picture was pretty damn big. "Simon....I need a drink." she said. She couldn't talk about this sober there was no way. She'd just cry the whole time.

Simon blinked surprised when Farren immediately began to cry as he opened the door. Well, shit... Looks like he would be doing some more comforting. Trying to put on his best look of empathy, he held onto her loosely as she cried into his chest, rubbing her back lightly as if it would calm her crying a bit. Biting into his lip as he watched her plop dejectedly on the couch, he looked over her, trying to think of something comforting to say.
Nothing was coming to him. He didn't really know how to make people feel much better, aside from making lame jokes. And right now, he didn't feel in the mood for any comedic relief. A bit relieved by the fact that she at least didn't feel like anything on the chat had been his fault he smiled softly and seated himself next to her, pulling an arm loosely around her shoulder.
"Still... I shouldn't have made it worse." He sighed, raising a brow when she admitted that what she really wanted right now was a drink. Glancing over to his liquor cabinet for a second he paused, finally turning his eyes back to her and looking her over again.
"Right. A drink would probably do the both of us some good." He nodded, getting back up from the couch, producing two shot glasses from the top cabinet in the kitchen and a bottle of whiskey from the bottom one. "Too strong? Or just strong enough?" He asked her as he set the shot glasses back down, starting to unscrew the lid of the bottle and pour his own shot. He always had beers if she really just wanted to gulp something down.

Feeling a wave of relief go over her as Simon agrees that drinks were in order, Farren sat back into the couch and ran a hand through her hair, her eyes falling on him as he brought back the glasses and whiskey. That'll get her talking after a while.
Sitting up, she leaned forward to grab the glass he had finished pouring, it being his own (but she didn't care obviously), and chugged it down before plopping it back down on the glass and taking the whole bottle from him. "I'm gonna need another." she said as she refilled the glass and chugged it once again. "It's perfectly fine, Simes." she replied, before leaning against the arm of the couch and propping her feet up onto his lap, resting her hands on her stomach.
After a few minutes of silence, she began to feel the buzz of the whiskey, and felt it was time to break the silence once again. "We're supposed to meet eachothers parents, y'know." she began, looking up at him. It'd only been three months, and already they were meeting eachothers parents. That was some scary stuff in itself.
Sitting up now, she pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs letting her chin rest on the tops of her knees as she let her eyes look up at Simon. "And that means we're serious, right? Like really really serious..." she continued, blinking at him before going on "And I thought once you get serious, you're not supposed to fight like this..." she finished, feeling her tears beginning to well up in her eyes again.

Staring for a moment as Farren took the shot-glass eagerly and down the whiskey quickly, he blinked blankly. Letting her take the bottle into her own hands and waiting as she poured herself another quietly, he finally smiled lightly, and took the bottle back gently, pouring himself one. He waited a moment before downing it, waiting for Farren to speak up, knowing she wanted the alcohol in her system to help her talk about all of this.
Finally she spoke back up and Simon's eyes moved from the liquor still in his shot-glass up to Farren's face- for once in his life- actually listening to what it was she had to say. Brow raising slightly at the sound of how serious her and Blaine were getting, he finally downed the whiskey and then cleared his throat.
"Meeting parents. Wow...that is pretty serious... Not that that's bad. Just..serious." Simon rambled in-cohesively, biting back into his lip and pouring himself another shot when he couldn't find anything better to say. Rubbing the back of his neck as Farren voiced her worries about her and Blaine's arguments, he sighed out, patting the legs that rested in his lap.
"Even people in serious relationships have arguments..." He reasoned, not exactly the expert on the topic, but he knew his parents used to argue sometimes- not that they were serious about anything. Fidgeting with the shot-glass in his hand he turned his eyes back to Farren's face, reaching over and wiping away a stray tear that had stayed on her cheek. "He obviously cares for you." Simon admitted reluctantly, "His temper just got the better of him, y'know. Plus...I, y'know, didn't really help out." He chuckled again lightly, trying to lighten the mood just a bit.
Reaching over to Farren's shot-glass he poured her another drink of whiskey and set the bottle down on the table, leaning back against the couching and patting her leg along to some random rhythm inside his head.

Sighing heavily as she set the bottle down and pushed the alcohol away, she looked over at him, her eyes drooped sleepily. What was this side to Simon? She'd honestly never seen it before. He was being so comforting and nice and it made Farren feel all warm inside. Well, she couldn't exactly tell if it was his attitude making her feel this way or the whiskey. Biting the inside of her cheek as he tried to reason with her, all she could think about was how confused she was about Blaine and herself.
The thought of spending the rest of her life with him had passed through her mod frequently. She actually almost hoped that would happen, but during every fight they had, she almost wondered what she would do if they ever broke up. It almost felt like that would happen at some point because he was always storming off, like today. Were you supposed to have that feeling about the person you were in love with? How would she know, he was her first relationship, her first kiss, her first everything. She didn't know anything passed their little walls. What if, what if, what if?
Her eyes looked down for a moment, reasoning with herself. Maybe she should try to see if there was anything between her and someone else? Looking back up at Simon she bit her lip. Simon was there with her. What could it hurt right?
Sitting up, she rested her head on his shoulder and moved her feet off of him, looking up at him as she did so. "I'm just confused Simon. I don't know what to do. And no, you didnt really help out much, but...righ now you are." she slurred, turning her head upwards a bit to look at him in silence for a moment before easing over and pressing her lips to his.
Nothing. There was absolutely no spark, no firecracker, nothing. All she felt was guilt. Pulling back away she slid over to the other side of the couch and shook her head in shock. "Oh my god...I can't believe I just..." she whispered, just staring. What the actual fuckery was she thinking?
