STRENGTHS :

OVERALL PERSONALITY :

• Aggressive: Violence has always been a major part of his life. He started out in the boxing rings and enjoyed hitting people so much that he took it to the streets. He'd really love his own fight club.
  
  
• Brooding: Marcus is a moody fellow. If he doesn't get his way, he can mope for quite a long time. He doesn't like to call it pouting, but it's basically what he does. He's just a bit more pissy than most.
  
  
• Flirtatious: If he sees someone to his liking, he's not shy about getting to know them. Some would call him a bit too forward, and that's probably true. He uses his hands for a lot more than hitting, and he doesn't necessarily feel the need to get permission to use his hands.
  
  
• Dense: Marcus is not a bright guy. He's got some street-smarts, but when it comes to school, he's just not a fast learner. It's mostly because he hardly ever tries at all, but it's also because he's just honestly really slow. It's still a wonder that he passes anything.
  
  
• Cocky: Self-esteem isn't an issue for him. He thinks very highly of himself and believes that he's almost always right, which is partly what makes him so dense.
  
  
• Opinionated: He's one of those frustrating people who has far too many opinions. He probably doesn't even know what he's talking about half the time. He just speaks his mind whenever he pleases to.
  
  
• Selfish: Marcus doesn't like charity, sharing, anything that has to do with helping others out. He's out to help himself. You're well-being is not important to him.
  
  
• Impatient: He runs on his own time, and if you don't as well, he's going to get fussy. He gets what he wants when he wants it.
  
  
• Judgmental: He says you for what you wear and how you look. If he doesn't like what he sees, he's probably going to hit you in the face... Jsyk
  
  
• Vulgar: His vocabulary is quite...colorful. He cusses far more than is probably completely necessary. The 'F' word is a friend of his.
  

SUBJECTS :

• Culinary Arts- Cooking is something that he picked up being home alone a lot. He got pretty good at it and then realized he actually kind of enjoyed it. It doesn't take as much brain-power as most things.
  
• Agriculture- lolbullshitsubject. He does not give a shit about Agriculture. It's just the easiest thing in the world and good for lols. These people seriously care about dirt.

OVERALL HISTORY :

It was the 16th of April and it was rainy, as April is expected to be. The Otters were on their way to Liverpool- a family trip. Mrs. Genevieve (Genny) Otter was expecting, but the child was supposed to be a week into the future. Instead the train was made to stop short, so Genny could be rushed to Broadgreen Hospital. The rest of the family join short after and waited it out for the 18 hours of labor.

Mr. Duncan Otter was called into the room, after being awaken, at the shy hour of 4:19 am. Then is when he was introduced to the handsome little boy (a surprise, since Genny had kept the gender secret). The two had had their noses in baby books for the past few months and so they were prepared with a name they saw fit. Marcus Barry Otter was brought home from the hospital the next day and that was the beginning.

From a very young age, Marcus seemed to have an unnaturally temperamental nature to him. Many times he got into trouble at school for yelling things at his teacher. He told his parents he learned the words from his school mates, but they knew there was another influence.

Riley Otter was an uncle to Marcus, and American. A few times a year Riley would visit the family. Marcus had taken a noticeable amount of liking to the uncle and always looked forward to the visits. Genny knew her brother, Riley, to be a very showy character and wasn't sure how much good the visits would do for Marc. It seemed with each visit Marcus became a little less tolerable and a lot more rowdy.

Apart from the foul language, there was Marcus's tendancy to hit. He hit a lot, and he liked it. He asked for his birthday, even, to recieve a punching-bag. Genny knew Riley had introduced the boy to the concept of hitting. Riley was a boxing coach back home in Chicago, IL. Finally, when a suspension from Primary for Marcus landed in the laps of Mr. and Mrs. Otter, Riley was kindly asked to visit less. It was, however, implied that he should not visit at all. Riley respected this wishes, sadly, and visited no more.

This took the opposite effect on Marcus, though. Soon he was facing possible expulsion for the fights he got himself into. In desperation the two asked Marcus how they could help him, what they could do so that he would behave. He tod them that he wished to move to America, to live with his uncle. Two weeks of thought, and no improvement from Marcus, lead the Otters to the decision that maybe America was the place for Marcus.

Riley happily accepted the responsibility of being Marcus's guardian, and at the age of 11 he arrived in Chicago. He was moved into Riley's small upper-east apartment to live with Riley and Drew. Drew was Riley's partner. Marcus was happier under the care of the two, and fine with the visits his parents made often to see him. As the years went by, his parents visited less and less, and it became as if they were more of an aunt and uncle to him. It was a life normal enough for Marcus, and he just rolled with the punches- so to speak.
