Casper slouched in the doorway of the church, curled up out of the wind that was flapping around the notice board, the papers folding over each other. He smiled to himself, tucking his hands in his pockets for a moment as he watched the advert for guitar lessons blow out into the grave yard. Casper sighed and struggled to get to his feet, wincing when he realised he was too late to stop the pins and needles in his feet. He winced slightly as he chased the piece of paper, not really noticing where he was going. He knew the graveyard like the back of his hand, even at this hour, with the sun disappearing behind the trees. He had been waiting for his sister to pick him up, but she had probably forgotten - she had a skittish memory like that.
He finally had the paper clasped in his hand. Returning to the door to the church something - or someone - caught his eye. After what had happened with the graves, it was rare to see anyone around the graveyard. Casper frowned to himself, debating whether to go after the person or just remain in the shelter of the church until his mother came to get him.
He decided that his curiosity was going to get the better of him. Tucking the paper in his bag he followed the figure, wondering what on earth they were doing in the graveyard at this time of night. But as soon as the figure arrive it was gone again and Casper was left on his own. Hello? Is anyone there?

Perry wasn't usually the morbid type; the dark, the mysterious, and the quiet had no charm for him. He liked things wild and loud and illuminated for the whole world to see - maybe that made him an exhibitionist, but then again, maybe it didn't. ...It probably did.
Either way, the graveyard was not usually the sort of location to where Perry Buchanon took his lonely, usually drug addled excursions. He preferred walking the main drag downtown or strolling his dazed, vulnerable way through the bad parts of town, making friends and enemies with the hustlers and the pimps that prowled around after dark. The graveyard was an empty, lonely cold place, and he didn't really know how it was he'd ended up there, not that that had ever really stopped him before.
He walked with his hands shoved into his coat pockets, rapidly blinking eyes hidden behind a pair of questionably dark sunglasses. If one looked hard enough they'd probably be able to make out the decidedly blood-shot nature of the whites of his eyes, along with the hugely dilated pupil and the fidgety way he glanced around him, unable to wholly understand the world around him in his current state of tweaking disorientation.
"Well, shit," he muttered around the toothpick twirling between his teeth. He bit lightly on the end, taking a seat on the edge of the nearest tombstone. "Don't mind me," he muttered vaguely in the direction of the grave, hands feeling around in his pockets until they found the battered hash pipe they were searching for. He withdrew it (and ah, it was already loaded; rarely did he enjoy planning ahead, but in moments like this it was beautifully helpful), fumbling briefly with a lighter before taking a deep hit.
He exhaled, turning his head lazily when he heard someone calling towards him. His mouth hung open and slack, the vibrant green of his eyes a dark, predatory color as he picked out the baffled face looking across the grave yard at him. And coming closer, too, that was convenient.
He straightened a little bit, head lolling slightly to the side, a charming but somehow feral, dangerous looking grin curling around the edges of his mouth.
"Marco~" he murmured under his breath, looking at the approaching figure with critical consideration. He said louder so that the younger looking male could hear, "You looking for someone?" If he saw a problem with smoking hash in public within sight of a total stranger, he didn't seem to care; he was already taking his second hit, smoke curling slowly from his nostrils.
outfithere notes lol yes i love when perry gets to corrupt peopleee.

Casper gradually took a few steps towards the other man, surprised to actually find someone. He thought, for a moment, that it had been his imagination. He smiled and perched on the gravestone next to the man, extending his hand for the other to shake, I'm Casper, I was just surprised to see anyone around here at this time of night.
He crossed his legs neatly at the knee just as his nose picked up something disgusting, What on earth are you smoking? he asked, a slight frown on his face. He wasn't completely naive to the world but drugs and alcohol was something he had never touched. He still had blackcurrant juice when it came to Holy Communion. Biting his tongue he turned to face the other man, watching the smoke drift from the other's mouth. It was almost mesmerising.
He blushed, looking away when he realised he had been staring, Are you waiting for someone? Do you need me to leave?

Perry quirked an eyebrow at the cheerful friendliness of the boy; he tilted his head a little, watching the other sit delicately on the tombstone next to him. He grinned again, taking another drag as the boy introduced himself. He eyed the extended hand for a second before reaching out and taking it in his. The kid's naivety was practically rolling off of him in clouds, like the smoke that was beginning to hang like a fog in the cold air around Perry's face. It was cute.
It was irresistible.
He grinned at the question, and seeing as they were still shaking hands, he tugged the boy forward suddenly, leaning in to exhale the milky gray cloud right into the boy's face. "Smells nice, doesn't it?" he asked, not leaning back yet, his green eyes shining mischievously through the fog. Then he leaned back, reeling slightly away and letting go of Casper's hand with sudden, abrupt disinterest. "It's my medicine. I'm a doctor, you see," he explained in a droll voice, seemingly oblivious at how... obviously untrue the lie seemed.
He shook his head at the questions, tossing his wild, curly hair from his forehead with an irritable flicking motion. "No, stick around, I could use the company." He looked back at Casper, grinning again and slipping off his sunglasses. It was too dark, and he couldn't see his new source of entertainment well enough.
You could barely tell his eyes were green; his pupils were too wide.
"I'm Perry, by the way. Here, have some of this." He let out a laugh, because what the hell, get the poor unsuspecting bastard fucked up, passing the bowl over and nudging it towards Casper invitingly. "You can trust me. I'm a doctor, you know." [/center]

Casper was surprised to find himself being tugged closer to the other man, well this was...interesting. He instinctively closed his eyes when Perry exhaled into his face - coughing and wheezing on the disgusting smoke. He shook his head and leant away from the other, a little confused as to what had just happened. He frowned slightly, but his curiosity go the better of him and he was soon leaning forward again. He smiled when he was invited to stay - waiting for his sister would be better with Perry than sitting alone. At least he hoped it would be.
Biting his tongue he coughed a little more as the bowl was passed into his hands. He shook hie head and handed it back, No, thank you, I've always been told that I shouldn't accept things like this - but more for you, right? he said with his usual cheery smile trying to make the best of this strange situation.
He laughed lightly when Perry said he was a doctor, A doctor of, what? Creeping around graveyards? he teased lightly, leaning back once more now that he was sure he wasn't going to get killed. Well at least he hoped he wasn't. There was something strange about Perry - but Casper didn't really think too much on it. Besides, he was making a new friend, what could be bad about that?

Perry laughed lightly again when Casper broke into a coughing fit from the second hand smoke. It was, surprisingly, not an unkind laugh; the innocence was as refreshing as it was amusing, and Perry took a moment to simply enjoy it. Lately he spent most of his time alone, wandering, drifting through life with nothing but poison pumping dangerous and erratic in his head, and even when he was around people, they were not usually anything like Casper.
He tsked lightly when the pipe was passed back to him. "You'll never learn anything if you don't try new things," he hummed back. "Besides, it's only hash. I left all the really fun stuff back home." He wet his lips, shuddering a little in a sudden fiendish rush of desire for the 'really fun stuff' he had back in his dorm. He distracted himself, taking a hit off the bowl and blowing a series of smoke rings, concentrating on anything but the craving. He was running low.
He shrugged. "Something like that. I'm still working on my doctorate." He looked over at Casper, quirking a brow in a half amused, half condescending manner. "What year are you? Freshman?"

Casper covered his mouth with his hand as he let out an almost silent gasp, Only! Only hash, do you realise what that's doing to your body? he exclaimed, a deep crease in his forehead, How could you do that to yourself? he asked, the frown quickly disappearing to be replaced with something that resembled sympathy. He swung his legs back and forth for a moment. He silently thought of a little prayer for Perry - no one should do that to themselves. It wasn't right.
Looking at the other boy he smiled again, nodding at the question, Yeah, I haven't been at the college long. But I'm really enjoying it - are you? he asked, not realising that Perry wasn't exactly the type to attend college. So, what are you doing here, exactly? The service finished an hour ago - everyone's gone.
Not that Casper believed for one second that Perry was there for the church.

Perry laughed out loud at Casper's horrified reaction to the hash and raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Hmm, what is it doing, exactly? Last time I checked, hash was pretty harmless." He took a hit, holding it for a second or two before blowing it out in effortless rings. "It improves brain function and circulation, it relaxes, it releases endorphins." He looked over at Casper again. "Frankly it's the best habit I have, and as a sort of connoisseur of habits, I ought to know."
He leaned back, watching Casper with thoughtful intelligent eyes. What was he, exactly? A do-good Christian virgin or something? Perry grinned at the thought like the cat who'd caught the canary. He took a few more hits before declaring in a mutter that the bowl was cashed and putting it away. Now his entire attention was focused fixedly on Casper, which could only be bad news for the boy in question.
"It's better than working," he said with a shrug when Casper asked him about college. "But I'm a senior, the wonder's started to wear off." To be honest, he wasn't entirely sure how he'd made it through four years of college, although he had a sneaking suspicion he wouldn't be graduating at the end of this year. The thought didn't bother him at all, naturally.
He lit himself a cigarette and glanced around, shrugging. "Fuck if I know, I just ended up here," he replied. "Seemed like a decent place to rest and pack a bowl and perhaps orient myself a little. What're you doing here?"

Casper watched the other boy, wide-eyed, blinking owlishly as if he had never seen anyone like Perry before. Well, he hadn't. It was strange but at the same time Casper was curious. Best habit you have? You mean you have worse ones? Like what? he asked, edging slightly closer to the other boy. He had always been told that curiosity was a terrible thing - it had killed a cat or something? But then, Casper had always been interested in other people and the lives they had and Perry seemed very interesting.
A senior. Casper absent-mindedly ran his tongue over his lower lip, wondering how he would be in his senior year. He would still have his faith, of course, but would his lifestyle have changed? Would he be with someone? Maybe he would be travelling the world, rather than being stuck in one place all the time. He shook himself out of his daydream with a quiet oh in reply.
The blonde boy couldn't help but smile at Perry's reply - who 'just ended up' in a graveyard? It was absurd. But he didn't press the matter, instead he just shrugged his shoulders and looked back at the church. Just finished a service, I'm waiting for my sister to come and get me - but she's probably forgotten. She has a terrible memory. I should probably call her... he said, mumbling the last bit. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't really feel like leaving, there was a lot more of Perry to discover.
So what are you studying? he asked after a moment of silence, trying to keep the conversation away from drug related topics.

Perry was fairly used to being observed and treated like he was a wild animal; most people didn't initially know how to deal with his like at first (or at all). He was used to wide eyed stares and nervous sidelong glances and he met Casper's with apathy and with disdain, raising an eyebrow at the question. He lit a cigarette. "Cigarettes, for one," he said boredly. "They give you cancer, I hear."
He looked away form the gravestone he'd been admiring for the past moment or so and looked back at Caleb, fixing him with a thoughtful if somewhat predatory look as he smoked his cigarette. "Service? As in church?" He grinned a little and a short chuckle came from him; it reminded him of his mother. He'd gone to church with her up until leaving for college every blessed Sunday morning, which was fairly hilarious considering it was... Perry. "That's funny," he drawled out.
He straightened up, scuffing his shoes against the dead grass rising out of the death box buried under his feet. "Psychology," he answered. "Trying to rationalize the human psyche, it's a real joke but they're giving me a degree for it." He paused thoughtfully. "Well, maybe. If I graduate."
