"The things I do for this boy..." said the prim and proper blonde under her breath as she started down the hall for Mitchie's dorm. Bridgette was not a matchmaker. In fact, she didn't even really believe in dating and finding your "serious partner". No, she wasn't a slut either. She was just...not interested. Yes, that was the phrase she was looking for: "Not Interested" Smiling proudly to herself as she thought about her newfound relationship status, she continued down the stairs to Mitchie's hall.
Even though she was not interested in this soulmate business, Mitchie seemed to be, and he also seemed a bit distraught. After a bad blind date, he seemed to have given up on finding someone to be serious, and Bridgette, being the generous girl she is, offered to change his mind. She knew there were types of people in this world. One, like her, didn't belong in a relationship. They belonged fending for themselves. However, the other type needed someone to support them, to be all cute with. Apparently Mitchie wanted that, and despite Bridgette's confusion with it all, she decided to help play "match maker"
Finally making it to the dancer's door, she knocked rather loudly, saying simultaneously "Yoo-Hoo, Mitchie poo! I'm here to discuss your future husband!" With a giggle. This should be fun!

Mitchie wasn't sure why Bridgette was taking it upon herself to find Mitchie some "arm candy". Perhaps it had been that off-handed, joking remark he'd made about sometimes liking his cat more than most people. Or perhaps it was just the fact that he'd been on so many dating ventures as of late. She was probably starting to get the idea that Mitchie was looking for a relationship, which he was. He didn't need one, or anything. Being single actually had a few pretty notable advantages. He'd met plenty of nice, attractive guys that he didn't feel like he had to get serious with. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy their company, he did very much. But, at heart, the petite boy had always been a bit of a romantic.
It was always nice to have someone to snuggle up to, and call 'baby' or 'sweetie' without the fear of being a bit too forward. It was always nice to be taken out for dinners and movies. And, honestly, Mitchie kind of missed that. It had been a while since he'd been in what could be considered a real relationship- at least a few months. Those few months had been good to him, though. It'd given him time for some reevaluating, some figuring out. Really he just needed to decide what his type was. Mitchie wasn't sure that he was completely sure even now, but at least he knew what wasn't his type.
Bridgette could be just the thing he needed to reach the point of actually knowing what kind of boy he was after. A second opinion couldn't hurt, could it? So, that's why the two had decided to discuss this matter today, since they'd already made plans to hang out. Mitchie could paint Bridgette's nails, turn on Mean Girls, and let the blonde throw out her ideas on what she thought Mitchie could do about this whole 'wanting a relationship' thing.
Glancing up from the few notes he'd been looking over for his tutoring session later that day, he smiled over to the door, sliding neatly off his chair and walking up to the door. "I thought we already agreed my future husband was Jake Gyllenhaal." The boy joked, pulling open his dorm door and waving her in. "Hi hun, cute scarf." He winked, twirling the end of the familiar looking cream colored scarf around his finger lightly before letting it go and turning back to go and sit down in the middle of his bed.

As Bridgette waited for Mitchie to come to the door, the blonde began flipping through her phonebook, looking for eligible bachelors. "Hm, Jordan...Nah, straight....Clark? Hm, maybe...Colby? Perhaps. Not really Mitchie's type, though." She said aloud, not paying attention to anyone around her. Even when Mitchie opened the door, she continued to analyze each boy's name; Until he spoke, that is.
Looking up quickly at her best friend, a large smile made it's way onto Bridgette's face and she immediately went in for a hug. "Oh, Mitchie, you slay me sometimes, really. Trust me, when I'm famous, I'll get you Jake, okay? Promise!" she said with a wink before pulling back to let Mitchie look at her scarf.(Well, his scarf) "I figured you would like it. It looks like you." she said with a giggle and yet another wink.
Letting herself in, Bridgette pushed into the dorm and immediately sprawled out onto his bed, letting her elbows and knees rest on the mattress, her legs moving back and forth and her hands holding her chin. "So, let's talk boys." she said, looking at her best friend for a moment before sitting up and pulling out a notebook and pen out of her bag and turning to a blank page. Writing "Mitchie's likes" at the top, she turned to look at him before asking "What do you look for in a boy? I'm bound to know someone you'd fancy."
