OVERALL PERSONALITY :
- Eli is the sort of person you'd /want/ to be friends with...Well, most of the time. He is freakishly laid back (which may be a side effect of the anti-depressants he chokes down every morning), and loves to be around other humans. He's a completely different person when in the company of people he dislikes, or doesn't know, he uses music to ignore the world; but music with no words, just beats. Techno music is a must for him! Countless people have tried to get him to like their favorite bands or even just listen to them, but he remains stubborn.
Techno or silence.

OVERALL HISTORY :
Born 6/27 into a very wealthy family, Eli was the first of seven children, and the only male. His mother never wanted a boy, so imagine her surprise when her first born was male. She practically abandoned him, and his nannies raised him as their own, teaching him all he needed to know. Meanwhile, his mother and father were away on 'business trips'. By the time his third sister was born, he had already been molded into a respectable young man, with quirks, of course. He could cook, clean, sew, and was a boy scout. He stayed at the top of his class, getting the best grades and behaving the same. He was encouraged by the staff of the mansion, who adored him from an early age. His mother and father would return home every few months, bearing gifts, but never to him. This cycle went on for years, until several days before his tenth birthday, Eli was dressed in his best suit and marched past his father's coffin. His sisters were too young to know what was happening, but Eli understood. His mother blamed him, for whatever reason, and he felt his heart drop. His mother and him could never coincide with each other. His head nanny Clara, a strongly religious Latino woman, loved him like her own, and promised him that one day things would change and his family would be brought together. She believed this with all of her heart. That was seven years ago. Eli is now 17. Many things happened in those seven years, things not even he likes to discuss. His mother remarried the devil, he lost his Clara to cancer; he was broken.
Words were thrown back and forth, bruises were left, both emotional and actual, and he was left without a home. Without a family. In and out of the juvenile systems he went, trying not to get busted for anything too bad. From straight A student to barely showing up to school overnight, Eli had enough of the world.

ROLE PLAY SAMPLE :
A tall, very lean teenage boy was leaning against the shiny counter, mindlessly. His dark hair was in his eyes, which were an icy blue. Elijah Moore was bent over a sketch pad, tapping it annoyingly with the chewed up pen in his left hand. He breathed a sigh of reluctance as he glanced out the window at the beautiful San Diego weather then back at his current surroundings; the dark, over-decorated walls of the tattoo parlor. His only company was a girl named Jayden, who he was not particularly a fan of, to say the least. She seemed to hate him for a reason he couldn't say, so to be safe, he avoided her at all costs, while silently praying the inevitable confrontation would somehow not occur. Instead of running out into the sunshine to enjoy his teenage days, as he desperately wanted to, he composed himself by doodling out tattoo designs. His blue ballpoint pen made quick scratching noises as he scrawled a messy sphere that quickly turned into a globe. North America took shape, then South America and Africa and so forth. Eli was unknowingly tapping his feet to one of his favorite beats as he did such, the music matching the foot tapping was blaring from a single ear bud in his right ear. He had attended a protest with a girl he had recently met, about saving the environment last week, so the topic of greenhouse gas and global warming was still fresh in his mind. He had not mentioned to the girl, however, that his only intention had been to get laid at the end of the day, as he had. But he also learned more than he thought he would. Eli found himself enlisting in the Environmentalist ranks and willing himself to do something productive, like saving the world. But running around the streets painted up like trees didn't pay very well, so he dragged himself to Ink & Honor and his side job as a busboy after 'school' most days and on weekends, right on time. He was dressed in his usual attire; moderately tight jeans, a blue tee shirt that broadcasted his favorite techno band, black lace-up Doc Marten's, and his jet black hair had been flat ironed and was hidden under a beanie that perfectly matched his shirt. He was never surprised when girls asked him if he was gay; his obnoxiously flamboyant wardrobe choices brought the quizzical looks on himself. But the question always seemed the first on many minds. His answer was always the same: "Not today, anyway." A phrase which left many puzzled and unsure of his sexuality. A sigh escaped his rosy pink lips as he felt the rush of that morning's indulgence wearing off. His quick stop at a friend's house had left him feeling like the sky was the limit, but now, as he crashed down to earth, the floor was beginning to look very comfortable. He yawned loudly, realizing he was drowsy, and stood up straight, very suddenly. Eli stretched very cat-like and continued to work his stiff muscles until he was awake enough to lean on the counter again and not fall asleep. Jayden had disappeared, leaving Eli alone with his thoughts. His mind wandered onto topics many thought weren't acceptable for boys his age; his newest fling, (a naive redhead named Shay), his dwindling bank account, (his pricey drug-related guilty pleasure splurges had begun happening more frequently as he realized school was around the corner), and the fact that he was getting ready to skip town. His family life had finally broke him, and now his paychecks were for more than munchies and shoes-they were for a new beginning. Eli scribbled a dollar sign next to his Earth. "Money makes the world go 'round." He muttered to himself.
