OVERALL PERSONALITY :
- Pleasant: If you know him, Icarus tends to be well mannered, hardly ever using bad language and always acting like a true gentleman. He expects it comes from his grandparents rather than his parents. But nevertheless, he may seem old fashioned in his introductions, and always raises to his feet if a lady enters the room. Sometimes he feels like he was just simply born in the wrong century.
- Helpful: If you're ever in need, you can count on Icarus to get you out of your sticky situation. Though abject to copying work, he will always tutor if needed (especially in Science) and point you in the right direction...usually the library. As well as that he's always willing to get his hands dirty for a good cause and he certainly isn't afraid of hard work.
- Energetic: As annoying as dark clouds on a Monday morning, Icarus always manages to pluck some energy from somewhere. He's a bright spark when it comes to mornings and still manages to stay up long into the night. You'd think the sleep deprivation would mean that he got tired at some point! But you would be wrong, he knows exactly how much sleep he needs to feel refreshed and spends most of his time wide awake!
- Organised: He always prides himself on being able to find things. In his room everything has it's own space, from his socks to his violin music. He always makes the plans when going out with his friends and they always turn to him for directions. But sometimes he can become very angry if something isn't put in it's proper place. It usually happens when someone has borrowed something and hasn't put it back.
- Practical: Although he becomes a complete dreamer when it comes to fashion, Icarus is generally very practical. Thinking logically he is able to solve most problems without trouble. It's when the puzzles need him to think outside of the box that he struggles.
- Unsympathetic: No matter who he's talking to, if they start to whine and complain, he shuts off. He can't be bothered with other people's problems, he has enough of his own. He's also not very sympathetic when he gives out advise, people ignore it and it turns out his idea was right all along. They have no ground to stand on if they complain to him.
- Irritable: Others' laziness, poor drivers, self-inflicted ignorance, prejudice, people who always moan and whine, excessive political correctness. Anything remotely similar will make Icarus' blood boil. He's quick to jump down people's throats and sometimes forgets that his own opinion isn't always the right one.
- Uncharitable: As horrible as it sounds, Icarus never gives his money away. He doesn't help beggars and doesn't tend to lend money. Even to his closest friends. He is certainly one to make sure that his bank account is full. He makes sure that he is satisfied long before the thoughts of others.
- Shy: Hiding behind his clothes, hair and what ever else he wears, Icarus is never seen for more than his outward appearance. He doesn't talk much and when he does he usually embarrasses himself by saying something uncool. You can generally find him hiding away somewhere buried in a book. He's not one for social situations and tends to avoid gatherings at all costs.
- Touchy: He doesn't like things to be done incorrectly and if he can't have it done his way he will get frustrated. He doesn't like to be criticized and he has a bit of a superiority complex. If he is angry with you, you will never know. He keeps things to himself but may be secretly vindictive. He is the type of person that can't put things off until tomorrow because it will drive him crazy. In school, if he is given a group project he will slowly take it over to make sure it is done his way.

OVERALL HISTORY :
Having parents that are obsessed with Greek and Roman mythology, it's not surprising that Icarus has become the boy he is today. Surrounded by pots and paintings of roman life and the heroes of that time, Icarus has seen his fair share of awkward situations when people enter his home.
It used to bother him, but no, not so much. He's just got used to it. He spends most of his time in his bedroom - the only Greek-free zone in the house, and usually hides away under piles of books and homework. He's a bright boy and has always strives to be top of his class. Then maybe his parents will think of him before Hercules!
He's taken on a challenge, going to college so far away from home, but he needed to get away from his freaky sister - who may or may not be planning to follow him to Las Vegas. He's stepping out his own and, although a little scared, he's confident that his grades will get him wherever he wants to go.
