OVERALL PERSONALITY :

• -Outgoing
  Her mom actually was able to talk her father into letting her be herself for a while. Annie takes advantage of it by being out and doing things as much as she can so she never has to look at her house. Even if she's chatting online, it's usually while she's sitting at a coffee shop somewhere.
  
  -Social
  When Annie's not stuck by herself, she's usually in a group of people, doing whatever it is they're up for doing. She kind of lives off of the chance of getting to hang out with friends, so most of the time, she's trying to nag people into hanging out and drinking with her or something.
  
  -Helpful
  Even though Annie's not really ever in the mood for drama, she's there for you if you need a hypothetical shoulder to lean on after a breakup, or someone to rant at when something goes wrong. She may not have the best advice in the world....but hey, at least she's trying, right?
  
  -Jumpy
  No matter how hard she tries to pretend otherwise, Annie's still utterly terrified of almost everyone because of her past. Even a tap on the shoulder can sometimes cause her to jump and drop a bunch of things that she's holding, thinking you're out to get her. She's trying to get over this, but it'll take a lot of time.
  
  -Clingy
  Annie is really, really clingy when she finally gets the friends she thinks she can be around frequently. She tends to follow them around and constantly send texts asking where they are and what they are doing. She can't really help it—somewhere, she thinks they'll find something to disown her about.
  
  -Childish
  There are a lot of things Annie really hasn't outgrown. She still plays with dolls and watches Disney movies when she can, she'll even join in a game of hide and seek every once and a while. She blames not having too much of a normal childhood.
  
  -Open Minded
  Annie tries to be somewhat accepting of how other people act and what they've gone through, etc. She doesn't get why people shun others because they have differences. She thinks it's pretty damn ridiculous.
  
  -Artistic
  When Annie is forced to be alone, she tends to spend her time looking through origami books to help her come up with her own folding patterns. Usually, when she meets people, she says hello by handing them a paper dragon. She has a feeling this will get people to remember her name a little easier.
  
  -Optimistic
  Surprisingly, with all that happened to her, Annie's pretty optimistic a big chunk of the time. Usually, she assumes things will work out and that everything will end up alright in the end. She tries to convince other people of this, but she's not good at making it stick.
  

SUBJECTS :

  Annie really likes her origami, and hopes to maybe animate her pieces in the not too distant future. She has a feeling this kind of class is perfect for what she wants to do.

  In case her animation plan falls through, Annie decided that her plan B would be to become a psychologist to children who've gone through abuse. She has a feeling it would be really good for her.

OVERALL HISTORY :

Annie was born in New York two years after her older brother, John Jr. Her parents really weren't expecting a second child, and freaked out for a while, trying to figure out how they were going to handle taking care of her. Neither of them really had the parenting instinct (especially her father) and much preferred a boy anyway, so Jr didn't have to worry too much about the baby stealing all the attention.

When she turned 8, things got a little....different. It started a little tame. Her father would just kiss her weirder than normal when he tucked her in, etc. She really didn't know what was going on, but she assumed it was rather normal. Around 10, her father would send her mother and brother out on vacations (he always told her they were off to see her grandparents or something like that), and he'd end up getting closer. Slowly but surely, he worked it up to the point where it took her mother finding out about what was going on before she learned it was wrong.

She'd always been terrified, and now she knew why.

Her father was found out and arrested when she was 16, and then let out 5 years later because of good behavior. Through those years, Annie'd learned to somewhat be social, hanging around her brother more often so that she could meet people....constantly going over to other peoples' houses and having sleepovers, etc. Thankfully, her mom was able to stand up to her dad when he tried to push his way back into the family, but he ended up staying at his parents' house—somewhere Annie had always kind of thought to be safe before.

Annie was able to talk herself into going to college because it meant staying away from home for hours at a time. She'd always really excelled at school (something even she really didn't expect), so her mom was proud of her for wanting to move forward. Annie has faith that things will get brighter, despite the nightmares.
