Ever since Chloe was 10 years old, she was verbally abused by her parents and kids from school. So, to escape the pain, she always went back to Chloeland, where she and her perfect prince charming lived happily, without crude people. She always dreamed of the perfect man to be with forever and ever. Fresh out of high school at 18, she found Cameron James. They were together for a year before he proposed. After 2 years of living with each other, they had finally planned to wed until Cameron suddenly up and left for another woman. This broke Chloe into millions of pieces. She turned back to her few high school friends for support.

After her friends finally kicked her out, she packed her bags and went out to Vegas, hoping to find someone new. She only thing she had to remember Cameron by was some old photos and the engagement ring. She swore she would never ever take it off. The only thing she knew was Cameron.
