Tiffany never thought life could be this perfect. She had a modern apartment in London, she attended Oxford School of Law, her finances were well maintained, and her life was falling right into place, but, more than anything, the most delightful addition to her life was her steady boyfriend of now 3 years, Simon Chapman.
She sighed contently to herself and swiped at the freshly clean stove top once more with a small smile on her face. She wiped the flour off of her pink apron that was raised slightly by her tulle-filled day dress, her casual heels clacked against the marble floor as she gathered her cleaning supplies to put them back into the plastic carrying case. Tiffany reached in the tub for her white glove. She stretched it over her hand and reached up on the wooden overhead cabinet using her index finger to run a line across the surface. She landed back on her heels inspecting the gloved fingers. No dust. Just as she had suspected. She spent all day working in the kitchen. It was a thing she enjoyed doing and never got tired of. If it meant pleasing Simon, she was all for it and Simon loved a spotless kitchen and double chocolate chip cookies on a platter when he got home, which is why Tiffany scurried to the beeping oven. The moment she pulled the oven door down, the scent of chocolate and cookies overpowered the smell of lemon cleaner. Tiffany grabbed the pot holder from the drawer by the oven. She pulled out the tray of hot cookies and placed the pot holder neatly back into the drawer.
After breathing in the sweet smell of cookies, she looked around for something to do. Today was her and Simon's 3 year anniversary and she just knew he had something up his sleeve this year. Tiffany walked leisurely to their bedroom, smiling at their neatly made canopy bed. Her teeth found her bottom lip thinking of the things they'd be doing tonight. Lovely, lovely things. Flashbacks to nights on the very same bed flooded into her mind as she opened the door to her quite large walk-in closet. "What to wear, what to wear.." Tiffany mumbled to herself. She kicked off her day heels, putting them back into the empty space in her wall of shoes. She watched her toes dig into the recently vacuumed white carpet, and decided what shoes she'd wear tonight. Tiffany bent over reaching for a pair of black pumps, holding them by the backs and searched in her never ending line of evening dresses. She placed the shoes on the island in the middle of her closet, immediately going for the blue dress she had just bought the other day. It was a good deal, Tiffany thought. 300 dollars was cheap. It was half-off! She laid the dress on the island along with the shoes.
Just as Tiffany was about to go searching for the jewelry to wear tonight, she heard the front door knock and open. A grin spread upon her face as she rushed out of their room, probably dusting flour all over the carpet and found Simon nibbling on a cookie he'd picked up from the hot tray.
"I see you found the cookies already." Tiffany said, walking into the kitchen. Simon turned around, his mouth full of cookie and raised his eyebrows. Tiffany giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck, reaching up on her tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek. She left a red mark from her lipstick and wiped it away with her thumb.
"Happy anniversary, pumpkin." She told Simon adoringly.
Notes: BAHAHAHAHAH. ..... heh. heheh. HAHAHAHAHHAHA.
