FAMILY: Julia Bennett -- Patrick Bennett-- Derek Bennett(8) HISTORY: Caroline was born to a very straight-laced family in the city of Burlington, Vermont. Her parents, Julia and Patrick, raised their daughter as if she was a robot. She went to a private school and was to maintain straight A's in all of her classes, attend church every Sunday, keep up house(her parents were both sticklers for tidiness, and still are.), and all at the same time maintain a smile on her face. It wasn't like Cara minded it all too much. After all, she had been raised to be the perfect daughter, and there was no other life to compare it to. At the age of sixteen, Caroline had grown into a beautiful, proper young lady. She was still doing wonderfully in school, and she even joined a few clubs during her sophomore year in high school, one being Photography. She had taken a liking to the hobby quite quickly, being told she had a good eye by the club leader. She loved the feeling of snapping a picture, the way it felt to know she would have that memory forever. It was a wonderful. She even made a friend, Isabella Thatcher, a strange, sad soul, who sort of took Caroline under her wing. After a few months of making friends with miss Izzy, Cara thought the world of her. We all have that one friend that sort of gets us into trouble, right? Isabella was that friend. Izzy was always trying to get Cara to go to parties, drink, smoke, all of that. Of course, Caroline knew that if she did such things, her parents would kill her, but Isabella had such a way with words, after a while, it almost seemed as if all of it was Caroline's idea in the first place. So, little by little, Cara found herself seeping further and further down into the dark lives of wild teenagers, experimenting with the wonders of drugs, alcohol, and sex. Seeing this whole new world was enchanting to Caroline, and soon enough, she had a whole different view on life. Everything was wonderful. That is, until Isabella introduced her to something else. "You're getting a little chubby...but guess what? I know how you can get rid of the fat." Caroline hadn't even thought she was gaining weight in the first place. She actually sort of liked her figure, but due to her fascination with her best friend, she believe the girl, and so her battle with bulimia began. Cara lost forty pounds in the next year, and at the time of her graduation, she weighed a total of ninety-seven pounds, wearing a size 00 in pants. It wasn't until she fainted one day during her first summer out of high school that her parents noticed something was seriously wrong. After a trip to the hospital and two months at a rehabilitation center, Caroline was said to have fully recovered, and was finally sent off to college to become a nurse saying "I was really inspired by the women and men who helped me out." That was lie though. She just wanted to put her parents at ease with her past illness. She hated seeing them so ashamed of her. So, with a goodbye to her family and Isabella, Caroline packed her bags and moved here to Winchester. She's hoping it'll be a new start and she can finally let go of her disorder for good, but we all know that's easier said than done. MY NAME IS Hannah AND I'VE BEEN BREATHING AIR FOR 17 YEARS.
