22 January 2012 Dear Journal,
Hey. You know I don't usually keep these things, but I figure If I'm going to be in Vegas, I might as well write it down.
I'm not here to be serious. I'm not here to get married and have kids or whatever. I'm here to make friends and hook up. That's it. Oh, and I like my job, too. Who knows, maybe one of my students will write a successful novel. That would be awesome.

15 April 2012 Dear Journal,
It's been a while since I updated, I know. I've been busy. In the sexual sense and the literal sense.
First up: Sexual sense. I met a bloke called Jonathan. He's a teacher here. Culinary arts. I may or may not have flashed his nephew at some point. Yolo. Our relationship is mainly sexual, which works out perfectly for me. All of this is better than Oklahoma. In Oklahoma all the men I was with wanted some kind of committment from me. Jon's not like that. This is Vegas, and our relationship is based on casual sex. He gets that.
Work Sense: I love my job. I really do. My students -- Including Adrienne -- Are incredibly talented. I'm so proud of them. I'm so proud of me. I'm having so much fun and I hope it never ends.
Friends: I met a chick named Sarah a couple of days ago. She's nice, and fairly laid back. Teaches Fashion. I think we're going to be friends. I'll get her wasted some time. Maybe take her to Mercy. I love that club.
