His father, his mother, and his older sister, Allie. Allie was the best sister anyone could ask for. She adored and doted on him, and she was the first person he came out of the closet to. Allie was the definition of support, and for a long time, Julian assumed that everyone was like that. When he went to come out to his father, he took Allie for moral support. David was furious when he found out, calling his son names like ‘fag.’ When he went to hit the boy, Allie stood in front of him, protecting him, she took the blow. Julian’s mother walked in and saw. That day she kicked out her husband, her kids would come first. Always. When Julian was twenty, he met a boy named Jacob. Jacob was his first (and only) boyfriend, and Julian was madly in love with him. The relationship lasted a couple of before Jacob decided he wanted to go to college and couldn’t do long distance. Julian was heartbroken, and ran into the arms of his sister for support. After a few weeks of crying on her shoulder, Julian decided he wanted to go to college. Partly to get an education, partly to get over Jacob. Julian’s mother was understandably reluctant about the idea of Julian going to Las Vegas to get an education, but after Allie talked to her, she not only agreed that it might be the best thing for him, but offered to pay for it.
