He'd stay after for tutoring just to talk to him, and soon he realized he was falling for the 29 year old history teacher. The two started seeing each other in private for a while in his senior year until the teacher had to end it for the sake of his job. Now that Henry's in college he still goes back to visit the man every once in a while. It isn't exactly a secret, but something he usually doesn't bring up and that most people wouldn't know about him. When Henry was 14 he was diagnosed with stage 3 Leukemia. He's undergone treatment twice, both times coming out "clean". This is his third time going back into treatment. So, when he's missing classes, he's probably at the hospital. FAMILY: father: Barney Owens -- mother: Carolyn Owens HISTORY: Henry was born and raised in Bullhead City, Arizona to two very loving parents. He was sheltered and spoiled a lot throughout early grade school, pushed in the direction of the arts because of his parents involvement in community fine arts. Henry excelled in these subjects in school, most others presented a bit of a struggle, but his parents always got him the help he needed to get him the good grades for college. In the 7th grade, Henry noticed a change in himself. The way his heart sped up a little whenever a particularly attractive boy walked by. The way he broke out into a blush whenever his friend's older brother said anything to him. He didn't end up coming out to his parents until the 9th grade, but they were fully supportive, although his dad left the talks to his mother. He mostly kept his orientation under wraps at school. That was until the 11th grade when a certain history teacher of his became much more than just his favorite teacher to him. Things between the two didn't last long, between Henry's struggle with leukemia treatments and his teacher's worries that someone would find out about them. It ended mutually, but Henry definitely came out worse for ware. He continues to make trips back to his hometown to visit the man, but he knows himself that he'll have to move on. He's hoping Winchester will help him, he'll meet a new someone. If his life doesn't become one long-winded battle with cancer, that is... Elle.
