His parents began to lie to him and his sister about everything. The reason for these lies, Dante discovered, were that his parents were using cocaine and drank everyday. Hurt by this Dante tried to help his parents out of their addictions before it was too late but his efforts were in vain. At the age of 15, his parents died from drug overdoses. His parents had left behind huge debts with the local dealers, and left the world, leaving the children to deal with it. Dante and his sister ran from Seattle, Washington to Los Angeles, California. Dante raised his younger sister who was only 9 at the time with much care. Scarred from the lies and betrayal, Dante developed a split personality disorder where all his rage and emotions dwell within. So now, when Dante is irritated he becomes rude, and is the exact opposite of who he was. After some time, Dante grew tired of living in the same room as his cousins, and trying to provide his younger sister with everything she needed. Promising he'd be back, Dante packed what little belongings he owned and left the small confines of his aunt's house and relocated to another relative's house. His sister remained in California with their aunt, while Dante, now living with his uncle, turned 19 and enrolled in college in Las Vegas, Nevada.
