We're smiling, but we're close to tears {Blaine}

A whole season had passed since the day Farren was informed by a plastic stick that she was with child. It was almost hard to believe, watching as her stomach went from flat, to slightly protruding, and here she was, five months along, and she could barely see the tips of her toes. It was obvious that this bouncing baby girl would take after her father, for she was oddly large for not even being at the half way mark. Despite her efforts, Farren had practically given up on trying to keep from spending money on new clothes. Her swollen feet made it difficult to wear shoes, her dresses and shirts accentuated her baby bump, and to put it simply, it was not flattering. After much thought, the girl had had it with trying to make things work, and decided that she would need some help, and it seemed Mitchell Presley was the one to do just that.

During the shopping day, Mitchie and Farren spent most of their time chatting as they gathered various articles of clothing. Farren would ask about Ryan and the whole break up, an Mitchie woul just shrug it off, and Mitchie would ask if she had moved on from her ex; of course, feeling the pain too unbearable to go in detail, she just shrugged without a word, feeling at loss for them at that moment. The question remained in her mind a while after that. Ever since Blaine had found out about him becoming a father, he had made it quite hard for Farren to forget him. Always showing up at her door with new baby things, a crib, a mobile, clothes that he had seen. He was so supportive, something Farren would have never seen in him, if she hadn't gotten pregnant. It was nice. However, it only made her love for him grow, when she needed to break away.

The remaining shopping were oddly quiet, and the two spent most of their time just talking fashion. After it ended, Farren sent for home with a plethora of bags filled with maternity blouses and dresses. Feeling relieved that she now had clothes to feel pretty in again, the brunette happily took them to her room and tossed the bags on the bed, removing a pretty floral dress from one of them with a deep neck line in the front. It seemed that before she got pregnant, there wasn't much to show in a v-neck dress, and now, she could fill one out. Sliding out of her baggy t-shirt and sweats, she slid into the dress carefully, pulling the zipper up the side before looking at herself in the mirror. Smiling, it seemed that for the first time in quite awhile, she looked cute, pretty even. She had almost forgotten how it felt.

Removing the tag from the back, she walked into the kitchen, not bothering to change back into her other clothes. Sometimes someone just needs to feel like they aren't ugly for once. 

Catching her reflection in the microwave, she glanced down at the large belly staring back at her. Raising a hand, the girl rested it on top of her belly, easing her hand down to the center where her naval was. Feeling a slight kick, Farren laughed. Perhaps having a child wasn't so bad at all, and  perhaps she could be happy again. There was just one thing missing....him

[BLAINE CARTER]

Blaine sighed as he pulled the trigger, and a click followed behind. He'd been doing this for so long now he was considered a pro. Basically, he could walk in, finish his job, and walk out, which was what he was doing right at this moment. Wearing just a hat, plastic gloves, and shoe covers, Blaine shoved his gun into his right boot and started out the apartment building. "Sorry, Johnny-Boy. It had to be done." Blaine sighed out then chuckled pulling off his gloves and covers placing them into his pocket.

It had been recently that Lyric and him split up, and for once it felt nice to have just a clean mutual break up. No tears or awkwardness when one entered the room, but that did not mean a woman wasn't knocking down doors to get into his thoughts. Farren. If he wasn't thinking about Farren, he was thinking about Haven, and picture the future as if it was some movie and they were the cast. Blaine had bought everything he saw that might be at good use to Haven, and if Farren would have let him, he would buy them a big dream house, new furniture, whatever Farren picked out, of course.

Giving a nod and a tight smile to the doorman, Blaine pulled himself back into reality and walked along the sidewalk taking absent minded drags at his cigarette as if he was just a normal person going on about their everyday life, and this was his everyday life. Just people wouldn't be so happy if they found that out.

After walking a good couple of blocks to get to his car, Blaine pulled off and thought about Farren and Haven once more. Dreaming of what could have been. Usually, he'd be ashamed of such happy ending dreams, but if he had to Blaine would shout it from the rooftops. Before he knew it, he was pulling into a parking spot at Farren's apartment, and walking up the stairs. "Here we go.." Blaine exhaled staring at the door before inviting himself inside, immediately catching site of Farren.

"Hey..I want to talk to you."

(Just a warning. This might be really bad. Sorry. I'm sleepy. But I suddenly had this burst of Farren feels and yeah, this is what happened. Ah. Kay.)

The brunette girl smiled as she felt a little nudge inside her stomach, a feeling she had grown accustomed to since a couple of weeks prior to that time. Haven, the name both Blaine and herself had given their child, was quite a little rambunctious thing, and it seemed that she was always wiggling around, kicking and whatnot. Staring wideeyed at the bulging orb beneath her maternity fitted shirt, she laughed at each movement that Haven made. "You hungry, baby girl? Me, too." she said to the kicking child, but mostly to herself as she reached for a leftover salad behind the refrigerator door. Removing a fork from one of the few drawers nearby, she began preparing her dinner before becoming startled by an unexpected arrival.

Turning around swiftly, fork in hand, Farren eyed the intruder, but eased her heightened senses when she realized who it was, though those fighting instincts were soon replaced with the nervous feelings she got when her ex entered the room. Lowering the fork and sliding it into the bowl so Blaine didn't think she was trying to threaten him with an eating utensil, she raised a hand to her chest, her heartbeat running at it's fastest rate. "Blaine, you can't just walk in here like that. I might go into early labor or something!" she said, partially serious, but mostly kidding, for five months was just a tad bit early for contractions.

I want to talk to you.

After a moment of looking at the man before her, studying his face to find any sign of distress or look of danger, she finally answered with a nod, before replying, saying "Sure, what's up?" she asked, a casual question, but her stomach was flipping inside. What happened? Was something wrong? Did she do something to upset him? Or worse...what if he thought up a crazy idea that the baby wasn't his? Of course not, he knew Haven was his. Farren knew it was his. There wasn't a way for it to be anybody else's, according to the doctor the day she went in for a scan that first time. Leaning up against the kitchen counter,  her belly sticking out like a sore thumb, the girl smiled to cover her paranoia, awaiting Blaine to speak.
