HISTORY: Lazarus was born as the fourth and final child of the Nix family, of which Josephine and Anthony had been happily married for the past five years. Lazarus was the final addition to the family and just because he was the youngest, he was allowed to do a lot on his own will and got away with it. He became determined very quickly, but had his charms early on in life and didn’t come onto anyone’s bad side. People loved him, he had the skill of talking himself out of most things without making it obvious that he knew what he was doing. And occasionally he let himself get punished just to lay of any suspicion. As a teenager, Lazarus was a bit more of a handful then he was as a child. He had a bit of a big mouth and it got him into quite a lot of trouble with people of equally big mouths. So Lazarus fought them. At school he belonged in a clique himself, and was part of the hellraisers club that went on at that time. He wasn’t really fond of school and doing his school work, and that showed when he graduated from school with very bad grades. Reality quickly served him a falcon punch in his gut because of that. He couldn’t get a job because of it all, and no job meant no money and he hated the thought of living of his parents. So he went back to school for a year to pick up the grades he left of and change himself a bit. He didn’t allow himself to get as distracted any longer, but still got into fights. The main point was however, that at the end of that year he managed to pull up all of his grades into acceptable forms, and actually went off to study engineering. And while he liked that, he still didn’t really feel that it was what he wanted to do. In order to pay for his life and studies, he started to work as French teacher at Winchester, which wasn’t hard for him since his father was part French and had taught all of his children French. He liked the language and he liked teaching, despite his own lack of enthusiasm at school. Once he got his degree in engineering, he applied for the position to teach it at Winchester as well, soon teaching both French and engineering at the school. That didn’t mean that his usual behavior got laid off, no, he had what he needed, he had a good base and soon his old behavior came back when he went out. Nowadays, it isn’t that unusual to see Lazarus arrive on a Monday morning with a black eye. But hey, what he does with his spare time is his business alone right?
