Travis acts like he knows what money is, and would lie until dead before anyone knew he was more broke than a homeless person and lives in a hotel room FAMILY: Alecia Bouvier -- Julien Bouvier -- Leo Bouvier (20) HISTORY: Travis was born in the beautiful city of Toulouse, France. Of course the city was no Paris, but it wasn't bad either in Travis' eyes, physical appearance speaking, that is. Travis' childhood was luxurious enough, or a bit to much. Living in a castle in France seemed to be everything anyone could ever dream, except Travis. Him being the rebel he was, he turned against what consequences he had to take from having such a life. Dress this way, look this way, talk this way, "No you may not hang out with those sorts of people." Knowing Travis, he wanted to pick and chose on his own on what he liked. The only times he would stomp his foot or throw a tantrum is when his parents didn't listen to what he believed and wanted. As Travis grew older, he'd come to terms with as long as he was under their roof, he'd have to live this way. Which was fine, he could handle it until he was old enough to go his own way and be who he wished to be and do as he pleased, that was until his eighteenth birthday he found out that he'd be inheriting the family business, and it had "already been decided" that he went to the appropriate school and studied what he needed to keep the family business going. But he was no child anymore, there were no more tantrums, so all he could do was nod and head off to college in France. Life went on, and now a year in college Travis had realized his so called life had no excitement, no memories, no real good reason. To him, he wanted things to be meaningful. Completely meaningful. Being the clever young man he was, Travis had come up with a plan to become a disgrace to his family. Acting improper was the only way to go. Travis began picking fights with anyone, drinking and driving, doing whatever drugs he could, showing up at dinners with his family and visitors drunk, sleeping days in jail ect. Finally, his parents noticed and kicked him out, but he was sure to get his fair share. Travis never thought of moving or even visiting America. It just happened one night. He'd actually put fifteen different countries in a hat and drew one out, and it just happened to be America. With the money he'd stole from his parents, it was enough to make a one way trip to New York, buy a translation book, a few new pairs of clothes, and a place to stay for about a week. While in New York, he tried to survive. Not knowing English was the most difficult out of it all, until he'd stumbled upon a group of young adults, just like him, dancing for money. That is where he met Jacob. Jacob had taken him in, taught him a bit of English, and showed him around, even got him involved in dance, of course. One day, Jacob made Travis come to an arts school audition. Jacob, already being a student, wanted him to audition, and so Travis did. Travis, for the first time, had earned his break and felt as if his life was finally coming together. Arts is what he loved, and that is what he was determined to devote himself fully to for the rest of his life. With a little bit of help with money, Travis finished and mastered all arts in the school and learned what he could of the English language. Travis, even though he'd accomplished so much, needed a job that helped him be exactly what he wanted to be and make enough money to keep him alive. That is where he discovered that Winchester Community College was seeking a professor for Fine Arts. Art. |
