[/style] [atrb=border,0,true] Lazarus sipped of his Black Russian and glanced over to the brunette who was talking on about some story that her friend had gone through with just a couple of days ago. Not that he actually cared about it, the people he had teamed up with this evening at Mercy seemed more interested in sitting down and talking with one another, making him wonder why they had actually bothered to go to a nightclub. A bar would serve their purposes better. And it wasn’t as if they would become a bit more exciting either, Lazarus had been sitting with them for the past hour and just listened to the just because the red headed girl of their little friend group seemed to be interesting enough to spend the night with.
Once he learned that she was shy and had a girlfriend, Lazarus decided that he should move on but not to directly. He didn’t want to get a nasty look of them after all. He’d remain with them until he’d find someone that was more his style to hang out with, or maybe even some friends. People he knew that he had gone to High School with often went to Mercy on a Saturday evening. He hadn’t seen them in a while, if they showed up he surely would hear them and then he’d excuse himself and spend the rest of the night with his friends. Problem solved, except, his drink was empty. And he’d need alcohol to listen to their stories.
Lazarus showed his empty glass and got up from the seat he was seated on and headed over to the bar counter, placed the glass down on it and leaned over it so the bartender would hear him properly. His glass disappeared, and he drummed his fingers against the counter while he waited for his new drink. He looked around in the club, trying to spot if there was someone that he knew that he could join instead but so far no luck, he was alone. And it was ten thirty now, the chances of more people showing up that he knew were slim. If they weren’t here now, they were somewhere else and probably enjoyed it more. They probably were at amnesia, the lucky bastards. He smirked to the bartender to thank him for the drink and directly paid for it, not wanting to have an open tab.
He took the new Black Russian and sipped from it, feeling that he could remain by the counter a little bit more before he’d return to the girls, although every second that passed made him just want to run away and never return to them. Who would have thought that red heads could be this boring? Weren’t they supposed to be the exciting girls?

Bianca could hear her heels clicking against the sidewalk outside the front of Mercy. They were rather tall, but Bianca had adjusted to tall heels years ago. As a chance that once she got drunk, it would be a completely different ball game, but Bianca was willing to risk it. She wanted to dance, and drink, and maybe find someone to go home with, or bring home. She wasn’t fussy. Reaching the door, she smiled at the bouncer and he let her through. He was probably used to her, by now. Mercy was usually where Bianca went when she wanted to get trashed or when she wanted to meet someone to take home.
She made her way gracefully through the crowd to the bar. Bianca didn’t want to start with anything too strong. Cider, she decided. Cider would do fine for starting. Cider was mostly fruit juice anyway. “A bottle of Kelly’s Irish Cider please.”
Bianca said with a grin at the bartender. When he put the drink on the bar, Bianca paid him and took a sip. She sat down on one of the stools and surveyed the area. Mercy was reasonably busy, for which Bianca was glad. Empty night clubs were just… Depressing. A continuation of her survey of the club told her that her new co-worker was there. Lazarus Nix. He taught Engineering and French. Bianca had only met him a couple of times, and in a work setting, but he seemed like a cool bloke. He also seemed bored out of his mind. Bianca studied the group of girls he was with. They were chatting, but looked like your standard cliché Vegas girls. Typically, Bianca would try to avoid being a cockblock as much as possible, but Lazarus didn’t look like he was having much fun. Deciding that a rescue was in order, Bianca downed the rest of her drink and got up to approach the group. “Lazarus!” She said with a sense of over-familiarity. “Long time no see!” She gave Lazarus a big grin, and turned to smile at the group of girls he was with. “How have you been?” She asked, as if she was an old friend and not a new coworker. tagged?!: Lazarus words?!: 369 outfit?!: Herenotes?!: It's all good bruh music?!: 'eyes on fire' by 'blue foundation' inspiration?!: Broken - Lifehouse credit?!: CLAIRE7@CAUTION TWO POINT OH![/blockquote][/blockquote]

[/style] [atrb=border,0,true] Listening to the girls chattering away of this new shop somewhere up town was painfully boring, and he started to feel more and more like the gay best friend or the third wheel. And he didn’t feel like being either of them, what he did know was that he had to get really drunk to stand up with all of this. Drunk it would be easier to listen to a conversation about those amazing dresses that you could buy if you wanted to live a bit cheaper and if you didn’t have any plans of treating yourself to a little present at one point during the month. Personally Lazarus liked that, and he wouldn’t buy something expensive if he knew that it wouldn’t overthrow his budget and daily life routine.
Lazarus gave them the occasional forced small and took bigger and bigger sips of the drink he had ordered and hoped that he would get tipsy soon. It varied from day to day and today, it seemed that today it would be a bit more of a challenge to get drunk. He took a deep breath and looked into his glass to check the contents, not much left, which upset him even more. The faster he drank his drink the more uninterested he’s seem to them. Life wasn’t easy in any way when he looked at it like this, going out shouldn’t require this much planning, whatever happened to being brainless?
A voice spoke up, calling his name out and sounding extremely excited, he twisted around to see who had spoken up and recognized Bianca from work. Smirking widely as she came to his rescue, oh how he’d thank her in any possible way she demanded later on. “Bianca! I’ve been great thanks, where have you been around? Don’t disappear on me like that. I’m not fond of it.” Lazarus said, playing along on her game to make sure that he really would get away from the girls, even if he just was on first name basis with her and had only seen her walk through the corridors from the staff’s room to her class. “You don’t have a drink, want to get one?” He’d gladly pay the price.

Bianca was just relieved that her new co worker had managed to remember her name. Hers wasn’t nearly as memorable as his was. That could have gone horribly wrong, really. Bianca was pretty much just relying on Lazarus playing a wrong. They didn’t know each other, not really. They hadn’t even spoken outside of work.
“Oh, I’m sorry.”
Bianca apologized with a giggle. Lazarus was playing along with her little game, which only confirmed her theory that he was bored out of his mind with the Vegas crew over there. “I just had a drink. But it was only a cider, so I’d love another one.” Bianca grinned. She was more than happy to help a coworker get away from a boring night. Bianca took Lazarus’s hand in an over familiar way and led him away from the girls and towards the bar. Once they were out of sight, she let his hand go and turned to her co worker. “So,” She began. “How’d you get yourself trapped in that unfortunate situation?” Bianca giggled, glad she’d run into someone. She was worried that she would have to go home early and then call Jon for a quick roll in the hay. Not that that would be an issue. The whole friends-with-benefits thing they had going on suited her fine. More than fine. But this was definitely interesting, too. tagged?!: Lazarus words?!: 228 outfit?!: Herenotes?!: -- music?!: 'eyes on fire' by 'blue foundation' inspiration?!: Sex and Candy - Marcy Playground credit?!: CLAIRE7@CAUTION TWO POINT OH![/blockquote][/blockquote]

[/style] [atrb=border,0,true] Sure, Lazarus didn’t really know Bianca, and had only seen her at work. But he had a knack for remember people and their faces. Students were another matter as they came in larger groups, but he liked to think that he knew most of the staff at Winchester. He didn’t want to be seen as the new guy and therefore made an extra effort behind it all, and so far he figured that he had succeeded.
“Let us get you that other drink then, you can’t remain without one for too long this is a club for Christ’s sake.” Lazarus said, and was relieved, so relieved when she grabbed him by his hand and pulled him out of his chair to go to the bar counter to get her whatever drink she wanted and another one for himself, he felt like he needed It right now. And as far as Bianca was concerned, he’d pay for every drink this evening as thanks if she demanded it.
“I have no idea how I got trapped…. There. But whatever I did wrong let’s hope that I don’t do it again.” He chuckled and grinned to her. He drummed his fingers on the counter. “What drink can I get you for saving me? He asked, mind already working and kicking itself in action to figure out what drink he felt like having now. Something sweet. Seemingly sitting with the girls had slowed down all brain functions when it came to thinking.

“Fair point,”
Bianca agreed. She wasn’t one to go without a drink for too long, which meant that her alcohol tolerance was actually pretty awesome. Of course, she was still human, so it wasn’t like it was hard for her to get drunk and make bad choices, it just took a little longer than it might otherwise. Bianca laughed and shook her head at his comment. “Easy mistake.” She said with a dismissive wave of her hand. “Happens to the best of us. You’re just lucky I happened by to pull your ass out of the fire.” Bianca smirked at that comment and looked up to glance at the menu. She was in the mood for something sweet and neon colored. Maybe with a little umbrella. Definitely in the cocktail family. “Hmm…” Bianca twirled a lock of her blonde hair around her index finger as she pondered her options. “I think you can get me a Lovebird.” She said, a smirk still on her face and her finger still wrapped in her hair. Unlike the cider she’d had before, a Lovebird cocktail had both vodka and rum in it. Along with some non-alcoholic flavoring that gave it a red appearance and sweet taste. “Get this night started” She added. tagged?!: Lazarus words?!: 209 outfit?!: Herenotes?!: I was looking for a photo of Bianca’s drink and ended up looking at those genetically re-colored Canaries. [/style] [atrb=border,0,true] When it came to drinking, Lazarus often had it pretty easily of how much he could drink throughout the night. If he had been eating well during the day of course. If he didn’t eat like a good boy then he often found out that he got sick rather quickly. And becoming sick on his nights out was not something that he looked forward to or planned. No, he’d drink whatever he liked to some extent. The thing that he enjoyed the most was, that when he was starting to get tipsy and bordering onto drunk, he always forgot to drink and just wound up talking to people. He didn’t drink then.
“Yes, and for that I will be eternally grateful and I will buy you more drinks if you ask for it. As thanks.” He smirked to her. No, he changed his mind, he didn’t want anything sweet now. He he’d stick with the black Russians that he had earlier because he wasn’t too fond of sweetness actually. He didn’t have a sweet tooth.
“A lovebird it is.” Lazarus said and drummed his hands on the counter of the bar and got the attention of the bartender that way. “We’d like a Lovebird and a Black Russian thank you very much.” He said, hoping that their order would arrive quickly because waiting wasn’t really something he was good at. Lazarus was impatient by nature.

“Careful, now.” Bianca purred. “I might take you up on that.”
She smirked at Lazarus. She was glad that she had found someone to party with. Drinking without a partner was considerably less fun. Of course, finding a partner probably wouldn’t be a problem for her, but she greatly preferred this. “Just try to avoid the boring girls, okay?” Bianca said, smirking. “I’m a lot more fun.” Bianca was glad when their orders arrived quickly. She was in the mood to get trashed. She was gearing up for an all nighter, and fully intended to drag Lazarus along with her. Bianca didn’t foresee that being a problem. He seemed like he’d be up for a party. She just hoped for his sake that he didn’t have a class tomorrow. She took a long sip from her drink. In her experience, you tended to get drunk faster if you drank faster. Something about your system not having time to recover. Bianca tilted her head and glanced at Lazarus. “So, tell me, Lazarus.” She said, a suggestive tone in her voice. “How early do you have get up tomorrow?” Bianca herself could stay in bed all say if she chose to, she didn’t have any classes tomorrow. Not that that would have stopped her from coming out and having fun. Yolo was her motto. tagged?!: Lazarus words?!: 222 outfit?!: Herenotes?!: It's aiight.
